Also look into a Warped Sportz Lucky 15 barrel kit they are pretty quiet.

Once your EGO gets broken in around 5 cases through her. Adjust your lpr to flush and reduce your dwell to the 9-10 range. Then adjust your HP reg to get your velocity right. that will help on efficiency, performance and sound signature.

catch up with me at BC and I'll help you out with it...
I appreciate that, I have many question on how to get the best ROF and efficiancy,etc... I will get with you.

My personal fave is the Dye UL. I use it on almost all my guns, exceptions being sniper II(Freak kit) and Tippmanns. I've never had trouble with mine breaking paint or anything like that..even with the crumby field paint I've been forced to use several times. Just my .02

A tad heavy and a little pricey...so they never really caught on.
My store was a primary distributor so the owner of AKA made me a 1 one of a kind, 14" Centered Beryllium barrel for my cocker.
Still use it to this day and yes, it's under lock and key.

IMHO best, 1 stage barrel. I'd have to say the Crown Point by AGD, AKA or the Palmers brass, ported barrel.
Best ,2 stage barrel. The original SP A/A, Revolver kit or the Dye UL
When I ran an Automag years ago the Crown point was my favorite.

There is only ONE barrel. Despite the owner of the company being a complete HORSE'S A$$. (Have you ever noticed that there are more horse's a$$es, than there are horses?)

DYE Ultralight two-piece barrels

I've used my UL for about 2 years now and I love it. The only barrel that comes close in my opinion is the hammerhead but your talking $$$$ for that

I use the ul with stiffi tip. 690 bore seems to work well with most paint, and not sacrafice efficiency too bad.

Other - I like ARMSON ............... nothing like a 6" barrel on a R/T PRO Mag............. It's so loud most people think you are shooting a little on the hot side.
I usually set my marker for 275 - 280 fps for daylight play. Of course unless the field has a different setting.

jay, i have several barrels for my ego...if you want you can test drive some at BC.
* 14 in. Stiffi (.689)
* 14 in. Unitec Lucky (.685)
* 14 in. SP Freak (4 inserts)/ also have a Stiffi tip and an All American tip that will fit
* 14 in. CP (.689)

...I have found that .689 bores work best for the paint that we use at most events. You may be able to get by with a .687.

As far as setting up your ego, I would STRONGLY suggest tracking down FRESHPOOKY!
