Pump Challenge

It looks like the date will be the 27th of October. As for paint, we wouldn't mind getting XBall or Draxxus, but, because of costs to us, unless we had a phenomenal turnout, it may not be cost effective for us (They just don't give us a worthwhile deal on paint.)

Our goal for this type of game would be 100 players. Target 60 to 140 players for this one. (Doom Hill is gonna Pwn you all!!)

We may do Evil/Midevil or something similar from RPS where Premium would be our lower grade.

Additional details will be posted as I figure them out.

also: Aaron : Im sure we can find a volunteer from Section8 or PPL to head up one army. The pump is good - the pump is wise.

60 to 140 players -- sounds reasonable if the pricing is reasonable.

The way this is shaping up, it looks like this challenge will be "open book" type missions (Not sure of the terminology here). Where each team will have a designated place to be at a given time. For example: Be at location A at 10:30 am, be at location B at 11:00 am, etc. There will be a new target location every 20 mins except at lunch time, where they will be spaced out a bit more so teams can allow some members to go eat while the rest remain playing. After lunch, missions will go back to the regular pace.

Teams will need a Commander, Deputy Commander, and an XO. (We take volunteers for these positions, or we can draft!) Pump markers are preferred, but not required. Semi-Auto markers will be restricted to semi only, and may have additional "balancing" restrictions on them. (May only carry a hopper, no pods.. No Hopper, feedneck fills only, etc..)

There will also be four spawn points on the map (two for each team.) Opposing teams will not be allowed within 150 ft of a spawn point while players are respawning.

Cost information:
$5.00 Field Fee
$10.00 entry
$10.00 all day air (CO2 cannisters or HPA tanks only.) I will have 12grams available for purchase at the time of the event.
(Single Air Fills: CO2 16oz+ $4.00 up to 15oz.$3.50. HPA $1.00 per 1000 psi)

Paint:
$49.95 or $59.95/case.

Bags of 500 will be available at case price. ($12.50 or $15.00 per bag)

Type of paint is not yet set in stone, but we are looking into Draxxus, PMI/Empire, and Archon (Proball).

All of this is still in development, but it will give you a rough idea of how it will work.

For pre-registration, I just need to know that you are coming so we can make sure we have enough paint. Pay for everything at the event. If you plan on attending, please send me a PM, post here, or shoot me an email. Please include how much paint you may need as well. For teams: Let me know how many members are coming, and how much paint you will need as a team.
