this works i used to run it in my escort but the gains are not that high, you need a really big generator to get a good amount of hho gas to run and they also have a problem with over heating

Would a you trust a web site built that poorly with a technology that far ahead? Hydrogen fuel cells are a great concept, but they aren't practical in consumer cars yet. The theory is simple: Separate the water using electrolysis, burn the hydrogen, and use regenerative breaking and other techniques to make the vehicle efficient. I don't doubt that we'll see it in the future, but it takes big money to back that research.

There's too much money for the oil companies to make to let any other sources of fuel for vehicles make it into the mainstream market. They have been talking about ethenol (corn) fuels being a cheap alternative to oil. Why not make fuel and energy from garbage/manure? Those are all sources of energy that will NEVER run out of and need a solution for getting rid of. We need to car like from Back to the Future, which is possible. Alot of the other sources of energy have been pushed under the rug to keep the USA dependent on oil and making the nations with the oil richer and richer. Just something to think about, you know?

Toyota has been making some pretty good strides over the past couple of years in HFCV's. They drove one from Fairbanks to Vancouver without any hickups along the way. It is only a matter of time before we move on from fossil fuels to something new.
