Possible New Bob Long Gun

From the nation:

ok folks.. here we have what appears to be an abortion in its 3rd trimester. If it is a new gun it's obviously a prototype as the 06 bob long frame doesnt fit the body (see the solenoid gaps in teh back and the eye wires exposed), and the front block has a gap between the frame and block. single tube spool valve design.. cocker threaded feedneck, front block of a timy (that a trinity front block?), and 02 timmy eye covers. Assasin milled in teh side isn't Assassins paintball or the wording would be assassins not asasin. Guns probably called Assasin. Custom milled Ion body? Dont think its photoshopped. I hunted for errors and only think that looks odd is the front block gap. Tube/air assit LPR? wtf???? Could this be the Lucky Paintball gun we heard about 9 months ago? Kinda looks like a stage 5 Ion body from Lucky a litle bit.

This cuold just be a hoax too.

I present the Assasin for your critiquing.

It's 100% real.

That is the prototype 'mummy' that I helped Bob assemble when he brought the parts to NPS back just before the first tech conference of 2006 in New Jersey.

It's a 'proof of concept'. It was very impressive for the raw prototype that it was.

This is the prototype of the gun that was known as the 'mummy' (you can see why it was wrapped to hide how it looked from the public) and that became the 'Onyx'.

Like I said...Manike (pronounced man-ick) is the man.. Junkies are gonna see a lot more of his posts and if you have specific questions, be sure that he'll take the time to get back to you. (providing it's not secret squirrel stuff.)

Really bright chap, this one he is...

Ninja Manik is right...

Simon hit the nail on the head. That was an early version of what has come to be the "Onyx". I shot it at Bob's...possibly the weekend of that photo. It was and is a nice gun, I actually preferred the early body style over the finished product.

But...to confirm what Simon said, thats not a new gun...or at least not a different gun that the "Onyx".

I was actually about to bring sexy back before that pesky Justin Timberlake stole my idea!

Do you not read posts? It's already been comfirmed that it was a prototype of the new onyx.
