I'm not a real fan of how much higher this pump is going to be based on the location of the pump rods.. Reminds me of an old shocker...

I spoke with Bill Holstein (CCMachinist) the other day. He was telling me about this stating it would be just like a sniper2 in every way except the top tube. The top tube will seal with the valve by way of an oring between the two. The bolt will ride on a sled like a midblock. The back part of the gun can pretty much be cut off. He has also made up ball sizing sleeves that fit behind the barrel and before the breech. His goal is to make a more customizable sniper style marker. The pictures, he also said, are very rough 2d mill ups and he can take a ton more metal off, and the pump arm was just what was laying around. Very well thought out. I really appreciate what they do for paintball in that shop.

why do the barrel threads start so far ahead of the vert asa? usually the barrel threads in behind the vert asa...right?

edit...found the answer.

i dont think this will work very well. what if the only barrel you have is a .688 UL but your shooting big enough paint you have to use a .693 sizer to fit it?

getting a barrel kit like you'd need to solve this problem would eliminate the need for the sizers all together.
