I've played with both phantoms and sniper IIs. I just can't decide which I like better. So I don't think I can go wrong.

well smitty u also have to incorporate...the alternation defect...wen u go from shooting ur ion to shooting a phantom ur aim will be a little off, which results in to having to get used to both of the guns between alternating..but with a sniper to u can keep the same aiming concept so its just like switchin between two normal semi guns...u undersyand wut im comin from?

I actually have a little better aim with a phantom but I like the feel of a sniper two. Weight or looks don't matter. It just depends on which one I decide to get I guess.

One ans. is to get both. I love pump guns and primarily use Snipers but I own and use on occasion: Phantoms, Grey Ghost, Line SI Bushmaster, and Old School PMI Pirannahs. They all have their strengths and weaknesses it is just a matter of which "hammer" you want/need to use when. The beauty of Phantoms and Snipers are that they are still supported so setting them up to what you like is easy and relatively cheap. If you get into the Old School markers you have the added problem of rearity and not having setups supported by aftermarket companies and you have to resort to making up your own.

I was actually thinking about getting both. It depends on how much money I get from working over my Christmas break.

I just swapped my Sniper 2 for a phantom. The pump stroke on the Sniper 2 is like butter, with a CCM kit. The phantom just feels a lot better in my hands.

but smitty...i shoot both phantom and sniper2. unfortunately i cant hit squat from far away w/ my phantom so i usually stick to using it in the village and such because its nice and tight. but my sniper2 i like using anywhere...ill let you shoot either in the chrono(not on the field cause certain mexicans like to toss them around after they get bunkered so i dont loan them out anymore)

playin pump is VERY good for your game...the first few times you play it your gonna get owned and want to switch back to a semi but tough it out and get used to you gun and used to snap shooting w/ it and such and youll become an all around better player. trust me.

edit:

not necessarily...a tippman w/ a flatline barrel will shoot a paintball at 300fps further than a tippman w/ a stock barrel shooting 300fps..
Ya I knew that. But you can't get a flatline for a sniper II or a phantom now can you. duh

And for the record I can hit at distance with my Phantom...
Thank you Brian

Did we ever actually sell any of those flatline autocockers?
