Pump advice

I'm thinking about buying a pump. Can I get some input on what type would be the best to get?

OR a Phantom. But really guns are like cars, try out a few beofre you decide on one to buy. We have enough Sniper 2's and phantoms out at the field you should be able to spend a day just borrowing peoples and trying them out. Find what works for you. I like Phantoms. I can shoot a sniper 2, but I just dont feel comfortable with it...

You should stick with the 10 round pods.. I don't think you can handle the 40 rounders..

Phantom FTW...just kidding, actually shoot a few different types then decide which is best for you. I have shot several different phantoms & a few snipers. I just like the phantoms because they are pretty light compared to most snipers. Hope this helps...

the phantoms are small and light. the sniper2s pump a lot smoother and you can shoot faster with them ( at least i can...)

i've had multiple of both and i prefer the sniper2 by far.

For woodsball / scenario : I would look for a 1993-2001 right feed autococker and then convert it via ccm, wwa or vendetta. (avoid the trilogy and cocker knockoff's) - and save some coinage for a decent barrel kit and a GREAT regulator. Getting the pressure down to 350-400psi is what makes a sniperII rock the longball world. The old Lapco Ghosts & Spirits also get a lot of respect in the woods, as do the old bushmasters. Phantoms do fine - but 90% of the woodsballers I know who play regularly and have owned both prefer their SniperII's.

For the aficionado, I would say an old rightfeed belsales evolution cocker turned pump to be "the best" - but locating one may be a wee bit difficult. A cherry condition Grey Spirit could challenge this throne in my mind but it would take a seal team to extract one of these from the collectors.

For speedball : well I think I would lean the phantom way or if you ooze money the hawaii guys love their Carter Buzzards. Maybe try a sterling is you can get your hands on one.

But like everyone says - go try a few out - get some decent paint and make sure the barrel kit works and go try um.

I love my sniper II. I have a friend who has a phantom and he leves it because it's so light. So if you want light go phantom if you want distance go sniper II. I out shoot him every time as far as distance goes.
