That might be true but I doubt you can get velocity above 250fps without mod. :p

Shooting over 250 fps is for chumps. You have to get close and personal to actually be effective with an old pistol. Grendel, you remember the days of playing for what seemed hours before ever finding your opponent. Then you got to play a game of chess maneuvering to get the upper hand in a one on one battle on 500 acres.

Well I guess I should put the Phantom out there. It also comes nicely equipped with a 12” Boomstick.

Jami, Grendal, this past weekend with Derrek (my son) and I packed up the Phantoms and went to a friend’s house (with 10 acres). Picked out a 2 acre plot (to shorten the games) and had at each other for a few hours, this is something we really enjoy doing.

It is just as you described Jami, we play chess for a half an hour trying to find the advantage. We have more fun doing this then playing rec ball on the weekends. Of course this past weekend the old man schooled his son in this beloved art. This is a GREAT way to hone your skill level too, I think I have learned more over the past five years playing in the back woods with my son then any other way.

You do learn a lot but do not forget to play with the "spray and pray" crowd every once and awhile to keep yourself intune with regular players.
