i own both and prefer the phantom. they're both nice, and i just like the lightweight of the phantom, and the simplicity.

I used the original SNIPER and it was big and combersome. I got my SI Bushmaster before the Phantom came on the scenceby about two months. The Bush is much slicker than the Phantom, due to the delrin bolt and lack of a o-ring on the bolt like the Phantom. A couple years later I got my brothers 8" Unibody Phantom, and after a little playing it was okay.

With the comparison between just the SNIPER and the Phantom, I have to go with the Phantom, because it still shot much better than the ORIGINAL SNIPERS.

We kill more airborne before 09:30 than other units do all day...

I had the same prob with the phantom that u were talkin about grendel, the whole over the barrel pump, but loved the way my phantom shot.
2 weeks ago i hooked in one of the wevo undercocking kits to it and it's freakin awesome!

next im gonna try to turn the handle vertical (got the idea from nix's phantom at Leyte)
