updating a pump

I have a friend that has a 14year old pmi pump. ya old. But he wants to update it. What is there he can do to it? I think he was wanting to see if there were any kits for making it a semi-auto. I dont know if theres one out there or he just needs to buy a new gun. He is looking for options.

Get us some details and maybe a picture and we can identify it. That will determine what can and can not be done to it.

I dont think a Tippman SL68 has any upgrades on the market. Thats an old gun all rite, cast iron and all.

LOL well not cast Iron but cast aluminum. The are heavy about the only thing made aftermarket for them were barrels and not a lot of them. The SL68 is a good dependable gun and if in good condition should serve your friend well in stock form. If he is looking for an aftermarket barrel there are several guys on http://www.mcarterbrown.com/cgi-bin/...n=forum&board= who collect and use them and might be able to help out.
