Vsc Phantom Help

i've never had so much a hiccup from my phantom til about 2 weeks ago.. screwed in a fresh 12 gram and it all sprayed promptly out the barrel. tonight i finally got around to taking the marker apart, and aside from a little grit, and a little paint, everything looks good. i spent 2 hours going over everything with a fine-tooth comb, cleaning, inspecting, lubricating. i could find nothing wrong so i reassembled it, made sure everything was nice and snug, happy and functional. i put air on it, and again- right out the effin barrel. any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.

after messing with it for a few hours and digging around for diagrams... it appears to be, that i am missing a valve spring. weird thing is- the marker worked fine before. then it stopped working. i take it apart, VERY CAREFULLY AND OVER A CLEAN WHITE TOWEL, i never saw a valve spring in there to begin with. but i mean, there had to have been in order for it to have worked properly before right??? i've torn my living room apart on the SLIM chance that the valve spring shot off while i was disassemling the marker- but again- i am a more than experienced mechanic and i like to think i'm better than that.
well i'll bring the marker to PBC this weekend anyway, but odds are i'll be playing with the mini. i did order some replacement parts for the phantom, but i doubt they'll be here in time.

AGG- thanks for the info- i may attempt to repair the phantom at PBC friday if i can get there early enough. i'll file the parts that i've ordered away with all my other spare crap.
DREW- i have ZERO complaints with the mini... absolutely love it. everything works as advertised, its light, small, easy to work on and comes with an excellent parts/tool kit, which i have yet to need. i have the Vlocity loader on it and i think its an awesome setup. the stock barrel is a little bigger bore- but it is surprisingly accurate even when i shoot walmart paint.
THUMP- see you friday i hope- if not then, then saturday.
