I don't know about that... I've played with guys using semis and such and to be honest, i've never had a problem keeping up with them. If yuor mechanics are down then really, you could just get them into a snap battle where fire power means nothing. Laning is the main down fall of playing pump versus semi so you have to get upfield quickly to counter their lanes and firepower. Get up close and keep them working, you'll eventually catch them making a move or out snap them. I've not played too much with a pump but the few times i have my brother and i have methodically worked them out of their bunkers and blown through them. Granted they were also rec ballers, they still had electronics allowing them their fifteen BPS.

once you get somebody into a snap shooting battle it comes down to three things- practice, discipline and luck. if the two players are of equal skill then the game becomes 50/50 and can go either way and it really just depends on who's got better luck/timing. Also, i wouldnt considering lanning a downfall, i've played home against semis and was able to actually help my team move down field because i was able to really focus on just accuracy and putting a ball or two exactly where needed. up front, i wouldnt have been able to do that because i wouldnt have been able to post up so long

Very true Lawrence... Very well stated.. that should have been drilled into my head since the Infamous Clinic to be honest... thank you for the reminder. Yes, you can help your team move up but i am really referring to break shooting and such... if the person can lane well, you probably won't make it to your bunker... sorry for not being more specific there.

I watched in horror as my general peeked inside the building from a window and ****WHACK**** nasty shot

No luck, he was trying to get a shot at you thru the door, i heard a shot and knew forsure that we'd won it,
then....awecrap.... here comes the XO walking off the field elimated.

Damn fine playin on your part steers!
Thanks man, but y'all still did better than us !!!

The mongols were in a tight pinch being in the middle of a massive cross fire between enemies...quite a meat grinder for sure!

Any ways, good game to you, now that we've met.

One of my favorite moves of all times in a scenario was by the mongol ambassador,
Saturday half way thru the day the french had a treaty with they mongols, (like all morning) the spartans were held back at the crossroads by our front line so we were sitting nice and comfy back at base having just finished a mission with the XO.
In rolls this tank and blows our base and trashes all of us ( the mongols had hired the tank against us during our treaty), 10 mins later here comes the mongol ambassador to talk to our general, he totally silver tounges it over with our general. something about they though the treaty was over.
At the end of it we're all buddy buddy with the mongols again and they're up the points for a base, general and XO kill.
Freakin Awesome!!!

Ill look for ya at the next game.

LOL,

all said and done, me and spydy were both trying to call that tank off, they had a really messed up idea of what was going on; though it wasn't there fault, I think our general made the order with bad information from refs. I remember seeing the tank shoot and yelling over the radio, "STOP!!!!", but it was too late. LOL
These 4 army games are always crazy, but good fun!
-See you at the next game!
