It took me a while to figure that one out as well -- Im not really sure Ive nailed it, but here goes:
I got this from The Magician "We started CI a few years ago to give all the pumpers and stockers in the Carolinas and surrounding states a chance to get together and play. The name came from the guy who got the idea, Interceptor." Their mission statement reads: 1. To set an example to all players, field owners, observers, and refs by playing honorably and fairly. 2. To promote the sport, especially pump and stock play, in a positive light and show others that skill can overcome firepower and win, regularly. 3. To have fun and create new friendships with other players. ------- I kind of view it like the Scenario Brotherhood - but pump focused, not limited to scenario ball, and it actually works to gather meeting and rallies at public places and events to accomplish the mission statement above.. Calling it an organization, brotherhood, group or league all sound pretty good. I'm not real sure which label fits best. I don't think "team" fits very well. hope this helps. ![]() |
