Pump Challenge #1 Wrap up

With the first one over, it is time to start getting ready for Pump Challenge #2. There was a total of nine teams show up to the first event. It took place on the woods field at PBC Greenville on a field built specifically for this tournament. PBC did a great job getting it ready for us to play on. It was very challenging and seen several matched stalemate. Hats off to PBC and Ken Barrett for getting all of this set up. It was all a blast to play.

The weather was gloomy the first part of the morning with the sun coming out soon as play started. The sun lasted most of the prelims but on the last game of the prelims the rain started coming down and it never stopped. The refing staff ended up having to call the game due to lighting. Luckily the prelims were over by then and the finishing order was decided by the order of finish in the prelims.

1st- CTG-Charlotte NC.
2nd- No Quarters- Greenville SC.
3rd-Rock,Paper,Scissors- Hendersonville NC.
4th- Freak Show Green- Greenville SC.
5th- Freak Show- Greenville SC.
6th-
7th-
8th-
9th-

If you know the places the other teams finished please post them up. It was pouring rain and I did not go back up to the tent to check the scores.

The rest of the photos that I have can be seen on PumpChallenge.Net

Was everyone in open class or were there some actual stock players present?

There were old slow farts like me out there too. The action was good, alot of good pumpers there, considering the weather probably kept some from making the trip. We need the rain in this area badly, but couldn't it wait one more day to hit? See you guys again soon.
