when they both share the same concept. smaller+lighter=better my friend. besides theres a serious market for MilSim type guns and people exploit that. im just stuck tryin to figure out what you mean by "and do half as much". are you saying pistols dont have HALF the accuracy, HALF the Velocity, HALF the useability, HALF the efficiency ratio, HALF the weight, or what man? im confused on what criteria you based your flawed opinion on. it doesnt bother me or anything. heck i dont even like pistols. im just curious.

BTW what kind of decent marker are you using that cost $280. nice markers these days can easily cost you 3-4x that much. i would definately choose a Deagle if i had the choice between it or a tippman or spyder.
Here's why I personally would not use a pistol:

If you were using a pistol as your primary marker setup: A pistol has a very small magazine. A pistol has a very small air capacity. The shortness of the barrel will improve snap shooting ability but will impair accuracy of longer steady shots simply because you don't have a barrel to use as a reference while sighting. A pistol also has a very limited rate of fire. If you like that sort of thing I think a trusty pump would serve much better.

If you were using a pistol as a secondary weapon: A pistol might be great for getting yourself out of a bind if your gun messes up, but having to carry around a pistol just because of the off chance that your gun messes up does not sound worth it. you would be better off using the $280 to get a more reliable and well made main marker.

All the same I know some people like pistols because they have the milsim look and cause they are "cool" thats fine with me but I doubt I'll ever buy a pistol til I'm old and rich and can blow my money on stuff like that.

As far as decent markers for $280 here's my Automag RT Pro ULT that I bought for $250. I'd call it a beyond decent marker anyday. Best use of $250 ever.

Thumbs down DaHaHa

Well that is a wierd way to luagh but my point is That Is WAY to much for .42 caliber pistol. Me myself and I think it is to much for a target shooting pistol plus I am not sure if they make .42 caliber rounds. I don't no why my title is that because it to me is crazy and a waste, my friends on pbjunkie think what you like. Muhahaha Dahahaha
