Land Warrior System

land_warrior.jpg

Real Action Paintball is proud to announce the release of the RAP4 Land Warrior System, a video camera that is small and compact, with many mounting options that interface with marker barrels, goggles, and your body. They mount to any rails, sights, or barrels, making the RAP4 Land Warrior System extremely versatile...and enabling it to be mounted on firearms, ATVs, or other non-paintball tools.

The RAP4 Land Warrior System allows you to capture audio and video, or photos, hands-free while in the action. The system has a built-in 32MB internal memory chip that holds over an hour of video, and it can be expanded for longer videos with a different SD memory card .

The RAP4 Land Warrior System is designed for ease of use--it's ready at the push of a button. The system comes with all the cables to connect directly to a TV or PC for viewing. This makes sharing the captured photos and videos simple and easy.

For paintball players, the RAP4 Land Warrior System helps capture those tough moves and in-your-face action, and by watching game footage, you can improve your technique and strategy. The system also helps you spread the word about paintball--you can share your video with friends and family! Show 'em what paintball is really like.

For Law Enforcement, the RAP4 Land Warrior System maybe the key to the next training evolution. By adding the RAP4 Land Warrior System to current training equipment, you can now capture every aspect of training. With a simple plug-and-play cable, review training exercises step-by-step. By reviewing what was done right and wrong from the participant's perspective, officers can greatly improve their skills and train more effectively.

Key Features:
- Hands-free audio and video capture
- Over 1 hour of recoding time
- Multiple mounting options--to barrel, helmet, or body
- Water resistant- Connects directly to your TV or computer
- Editing software included for stitching multiple segments together
- 32MB internal memory included
- SD memory card expansion capability
- Operates with 4xAAA batteries

I just wonder what the picture quality is for $200? Especially if you can tape over 1 hour on 32MB. I might wait for someone to try it and let me know.

I know a player that made his on for less than a hundred that would send the video feed back to a recorder. It only had an effective range of 200'. For another hundred I wonder what I could come up with. Hmmm?

My buds was smaller, good quality.

Play safe and have fun,

Yea, somebody give me a number crunch on this, but an hour on 32MB???
sound like less than 15fps, or very low res at 30 fps.
anyone got detailed specs here, or tried it yet?

EDIT: okay got the details off the website, another link, etc.

- Three resolutions at 15 fps: 640 x 480 (default), 320 x 240 or 160 x 120

so you klnow the max time is at the min. res.=160x120
ooooooooooooohhh, that just sounds grainy
