If I lived exactly inbetween PBC and TT, and gas were free, and the wife didnt get mad, I can see my self playing at PBC - simply for the crowds they draw on any given saturday and Ive got a lot of good friends who play down there.
TriggerTyme suffers a bit due to a fairly obscure location and lots of changes in ownership. The new manager (Del) and owner (Robbie) are dedicated to woodsball and scenario ball. For the players who want to play hide and seek, cops and robbers, cowboys and indian TT is here to serve you - in the midlands.
TT's poor neglected speedball field that hasnt been played in month is getting bull dozed next weekend and turned into a parking lot to help with parking for the 560+ coming to the Super 64 scenario. That should say it all.
TT has a 6 bps cap for our normal recball days to help keep the place new player friendly and mixed group friendly.
PBCs staff is also exceptional - but TT is closing the gap quickly, lead by senior staffer Mike Aerion" Curtis - Mike is our version of Skeeter when it comes to reffing, and he working hard to train up TTs new batch of refs focused on FUN and SAFETY - - note both words being bold.
To those players who play TT and have never played PBC - go. They have some hunters down there (Bob, Keith, AJ, Patric, Wayne, etc) (ps: I miss Clank) that will have your scalps hanging on the wall before you get a shot off. (Rumor is Bob has a cloaking device)
And the Cathedral road is by far my favorite place to play in the world.
But I live here 15 mile from TT, and there is no getting around the wife..
