Matterhorns; Going on year 12. Waterproof, lightweight, re-soleable, no squeaks and good support.

If you are looking for boots with good ankle support I would listen to Grendel. I can't think of anyone else that would know more about needing good ankle support.

Wal-mart has a boot called "survivor". They are around $30 or less. Great boots. They're kinda hot in the summer though. Great for winter play.

i actually own a pair of those, and he speaks the truth. i've never used them for paintball, but they are cheap and comfortable...
if the money isn't an issue, the Bates ICB or Jngle boots that the USMC issues are very comfortable, but new, the run close to $90 i think... great ankle support, good sole. waterproof. it wouldn't be that hard for me to get you a slightly used pair for somewhere in the $25 to $35 range if you had normal sized feet man. 16 are rare... i live right by parris island, where the usmc trains east coast recruits... the ones who drop out, their gear goes up for sale at a discounted rate... i can't remember the last time i bought NEW uniform stuff. LOL

man......are you going to be at BC in april? I wouldn't mind having some of those, as long as they were the ones that have the canvas or whatever that stuff is. I had a pair of the old fashioned all leather w/hard ass soles.

After being in Law Enforcement for 7 years, I support the HITEC MAGNUM. They deliver excellent support and if you use an insert, the comfort is unsurpassed.
