What are good boots?

Hey guys, I play woodsball at TT, and I need some good, quiet boots, but I wear a size 16, so let me know some good ones.

Bates are pretty good TAC boots, if you can find a size 16.

Gortex, Bellview. Most likely you will find your size in some sort of jungle boot. My dad wears 15's and that about all he can find boot wise.

Magnums are in my experience the best. They are light weight, infact the lightest and at a great low price at roughly $40 bucks.

-highly recommended!

YES!!! My son wears 14s in his Magnum and they were $40-45, if I remember correctly. He loves them. He is very hard on them and they stand up to it!

I've got the Vipers (?). They were around $60, but air-cushioned, and worth every penny and more!

HiTec Magnums rock! Im on my fourth set now -- I know the army navy store at the corner of Lady and Assembly (beside MoLevies) in downtown columbia has a very good stock and priced < $50.00 for the non-zippered variety. A pair of magnums lasts about 3 years of regular (2-3/mo) play. very light weight. good ankle support. very comfortable once broken in - and for $50 you cant go wrong.

Bates are likely better, and run around $120 at Sportsmans Warehouse. They also have some magnums -- but seem higher priced than elsewhere.

GB Shoes carrys the zippered magnums ($80). In columbia located near Dutch Square.

Regardless look for boots w/ good ankle support. 8" or better.

Cant help you w/ size 15 info. (WOW)

I own/have owned Magnums and Bates Tactical and love both. They are lighter than my sneakers and still give very good ankle support (and boy do I need the support). The most I've paid for either Magnums or Bates are around $60.
