It really depends on the field and promoter. Wayne Dollack sells aircards in $5 and $10 increments. You get punched each time you bet air and buy new cards when needed. It is pretty common to not be punched each time (I still have a card from two years ago that I have been using)
Paint is typically more expensive with only one type available and field paint only. Expect to pay $70-90 per case for low to mid grade paint. I typically go through 1 to 1 1/2 cases, but I do play the majority of the time with a pump and am more mission dedicated than elimination devoted. You can buy more paint throughout the event if needed. I prefer to buy two cases up front and deal with the rest later if needed.

I haven't played real woods ball sinc I was in Pensacola. Nothing like going out with the rednecks in somebody's back yard, that was pretty fun. I like the tournament fields because of the openess, and the fact that cover is clearly defined. I never liked hiding behind bushes praying that balls didn't start making it through without breaking. Haven't had the time to get serious with my team, but I mainly like to go out and have fun.

oh yeha you are always going to have if it has a paintball name. in my opinion of play i like to have the woods. there is more cover there than on a toury feild. you just have to find it. if not it is not a good feild. but that is just me

i played a little yesterday and today in my nebors back yard. its kind of recball. we only have three people playing there( inculding me) so we palyed one on one. it was actually preety fun. i dominated to day. i won every game exept one. yesterday i only won like two though. it was pretty funny because my niegbor friends as blind as a bat with out his contacks. so here is the funny part. my brother and niebor where in a fight and my niegbor coudln't see where he was so he just basily ran right up to my lil bro and my lil bro lit him up. he hit him about 8 times it was pretty funny i thought.

It’s all about the woods for me. My favorite is to play small teams and pump stalking each other.
That really does improve your game, of course I can’t shoot straight so I spend most of my time running. :p

Yup, I was raised in the woods by wilds dogs.

That explains my desire to play woods ball.

It also explains my bad eye site, hairy palms and why I lick myself at work.
