I also used to enjoy tournaments and speedball, but I can no longer devote the time that it takes to be good. I play recball, but there is nothing that can touch a good scenario. If you haven't played one you should give it a shot. Just remember to pace yourself. Most tournament players are good at scenarios for the first couple of hours and then run out of gas.
Picture a great camping trip, old school stories about guns and games that you weren't even alive for, oh and of course some paintball as well. |

Like Deep said Scenarios are the ultimate. They basically are Rec Ball on a large scale with what should be clear objectives. Now do not get me wrong Rec Ball can be a lot of fun and easier to recover from but Scenarios become less about what you shoot and how fast and tactics and more about brains, skill and stratagy. Now tourney ball is great for some players but to be good and competitive you have to devote a lot of time and money to practicing and after awhile it can feel like work instead of play. I do recommend that every player should try all forms of Paintball and see what appeals to them. As I said before I used to play tourney ball and loved it but that part of my playing career is over and I'm more into rec and scenario ball now but who knows pump tourney play may be in my future.
