In my conversation via messaging to Renegade27 last night I posted my comments to their video as RagTop did. I was deleted as well so I posted another comment. Renegade sent me a private message explaining what they were trying to accomplish with the video. That it was all in good fun and humorous.

I then explained the very thing we all seek in paintball. The responsibility around it, the safety required and the need for us to stick together to protect the sport. Videos on youtube are placed there as gags, to be humors at times and to be serious at times. Nevertheless, the have a large impact on how a percentage of the population develop stereotypes and such against the sport.

Renegade was immediate in responding to apologize. I don't know if the video is still accessible. I can't get to youtube behind my firewall at work. I recommended making the video private and not public. I would hope they would consider that option.

I commend Renegade27 for coming on PBjunkie to apologize to the paintball community. I welcome them to join the community and get involved. Come to a scenario game and meet these players you chat with on this site. They are hands down some of the best people you will ever meet.

It is still fully accessible, which in my opinion degrades the apology and makes it sound rather hollow.

Well that is unfortunate. The kid I was messaging with last night was the one who got shot. I'm assuming their in school at the moment.

We'll see how sincere they really are if they come back to here to read and post.

I'm not sure why I'm pursuing this. I suppose I'm just tired of seeing this crap on youtube. In fact, there is a whole clan of these individuals who post this stuff. One of them responding back to their video post, told them to go check his video out it was 10 times better. I watched the video with a shirtless kid being hit over 100 times, at about 30+ feet. He had a mask on but it still didn't represent paintball as a whole.

Hopefully, they will make it private or remove it all together.

Yeah I was already thinking that I'm going to delete it today. I just gotta run it by the other 2, but don't worry...I'll convince them.

Oh and to /-ICEpik, we don't start school until September...lol

A very mature thing to do. Although I don't condone the acts of the video I do commend you on correcting an error instead of making it worse.

Those are the actions that turn boys into men good job on the delete most of these videos lead to some kid trying to top it and someone getting hurt.
