Hi Guys,

the Day was good at the Field. We were playing all kind of diffrent Games.

Let the Field Grow up more and Improve it and we will see a 8Hours Scenario soon. Maybe beginning of next Year.

We all had fun and it was a Great Play.

Spydie thanks for coming out. Hope you guys had a good time i know ho did. Like country said yesterday next time ya'll come the field will be different i think he plans on working on something new every week. In the future the plans are to build a town with the some of the buildings on skids so we can keep changing it around plus he has a lot of plans for different woods fields and lets not forget the 16 acre island. Again thanks to all you guys for coming and btw the guys with the birthday had a great time and will be back.

I dont think it would be fair to judge the field at this point. I see a lot of potential, and they are off to a heck of a start. the facilitys are nice. and there are plenty of staffers available to help out. Good Start guys, keep it up.

I know i had a good time!~

I agree with you for once Brain, haha Looks kind of dangerous, no barrel plugs no masks...at least use barrel plugs for staging pictures...

But it looks like a nice speedball field & scenario field....could use some netting around the playing area though

In Response

In response to the two posts concerning safety......

Number 1 concern: No Barrel Plugs in the picture.
Aight I will give you this one if you want to pick the picture and pull it all apart. Their barrel plugs were in their pockets. Next time so that no one has a cow about it any pictures that we "STAGE" will have proper protective gear in the picture. Just for safety purposes I will have then some full masks with neck protectors and also knee pads and elbow pads, chest and back protectors, maybe I can order a full knights armor suit like the kinights wore in medieval times. Does National or Archon stock those?

Number 2 concern: Netting around playing fields.
Insurance reguires for our fields to be 300 feet from any other playing area or staging area or structure that is not in the field of play or have netting up. Got that covered. We have that and then some between our playing fields and staging areas. Between our palying areas are also thick woods and brush along with the required distance. As we add our 5TH, 6TH, 7TH, 8TH, 9TH, 10TH, 11TH, and more than likely or 12TH playing field we will begin to add netting as needed. Come on out and check out what we got before worrying about safety concerns from pictures.

On a side note::::: All safety concerns are taken seriously and this post is just me goofing off!!! Since we had a great weekend of play here at Saluda Paintball I am taking the day off and I aint doing nothing! I might go fishing if the rain stops but other than that I aint doing a thing today.

Love ya mean it.......Country

I wasnt trying to be a smarta$$ about it, so the knight armor suit, neck protectors etc. comment was kind of uncalled for. I am just saying Safety in paintball is the most important thing. Like I said, I am not trying to be an a$$ about it, just saying it would be better if the pictures would of had at least barrel plugs on the gun, I mean im not saying people are gonna see this picture a lot, but my point is if a lot of new players see it, no mask, no barrel plugs...those people in the picture dont have to do it, why would we? You know what I mean? I am sure yall have good safety requirements & are strict about it like Paintball Charleston, nothing you can do about the picture now, I just figured I would point something out.

About the netting, I actually wasnt talking about safety that much, I was actually talking about spectator/playing wise have netting around each speedball field, and also to be "isolated" from the normal scenario playing field. We dont want to be pulling another "Avalanche" move...haha...if people dont remember, they were playing speedball, and someone was hidin in the woods shootin the other team....yea...they got caught.

Anyways, dont take those posts offensive, I just thought I would point something out.

Good luck to yall!
