Pegasus Bridge

Late yesterday the Bunker Staff released the first
photo showing the progress which has been made
on the approaches to a soon to be added Pegasus
Bridge.

As WWII history buffs will tell you, Pegasus bridge
was a 'KEY' objective for British Airborne forces as
they dropped in behind enemy lines shortly after
midnight on June 6th. In the past this objective had
been simulated on the D-Day field, but not any longer.
A local town, which just completed replacing their old
two lane steel span with a new one, has struck a deal
which will see it relocated to the D-Day site, where it'll
become a pivital objective for Commonwealth elements
of the Allied Forces, as well as a key strong point for
their German counterparts.

This site improvement is just one of many which the
staff hopes to have completed in time for June, when
over 4,000 players from around the globe are expected
to come to take part in the 11th Annual Oklahoma D-Day
Event.

If you'd like more details about this event, or would like
to enlist in one of our many Allied Command units, visit
the official D-Day website - http://www.ddayadventurepark.com/
or contact me for more details.

2nd Armor offers more

Join up with a unit that's got the heavy weapons and the
tanks to back them up. This is a unit which is sure to see
its fair share of action, from the time they break out from
Utah Beach till the final monents of the event, 2nd Armor
Group offers players a chance to fill a variety of challenging
positions. Tankers, tank killers, Mech Infantry and for the
very first time Military Police all fall under the domain of
this unit.

For more details contact me or visit the recruiting threads
on the Oklahoma D-Day website - www.oklahomadday.com

Bug 2.0

Powered by Smart Parts twin SP-8s and a SP-1, the BlackHeart Tank Bug 2 and its crew have joined the 2nd AD for its assault on Utah Beach at DDay. Flanked by the newly refitted BlackHeart Warthog, Keith's HalfTrack, and the powerful AssasiNation Tank this armored force has the combined firepower and air storage to lay down over 84,000 paintballs in less than 15 minutes.

We are excited and honored to be a part of the 2nd AD.

Interglacials are short and then we enter the nasty brutishness of the glacial periods.

With just 10 days to go before the cutoff for picking
which unit you and your buddies want to join, the race
to fill the remaining slots within the 2nd Armor's many
elements moves into high gear.

If you're a tanker and you've never been out to the
Oklahoma D-Day event, you don't know what you've
been missing. New for 2008, wider roads, more roads
and a two lane steel bridge. Join the 2nd and become
part of the largest assembly of paintballs tanks ever
seen in one event.

If you're into mechanized infantry, the 2nd still has
openings for you as well and with close to 700 acres
of German dominated field to secure, the action is sure
to be non-stop.

Got and itch to blow things up, join the 899th "Black
Cats," the baddest bunch of tank and bunker busting
players you'll ever want to meet. This unit gests to
blow up tanks and bunkers, as well as provide heavy
weapons supporting fire for the infantry and armor,
first on the beaches then as they push into the very
heart of German held territory.

Still not enough options, consider joining the 2nd's
newly formed 502nd Military Police unit, under the
command of Todd "Superdad" Stark. Check to see
how joining this group can also land you a great deal
on a brand new TAC-8, mag fed pistol.

Not sure if you qualify to play with these units, no
problem just show up a couple days early and they'll
train you. That's right, where else can you go to
play and find yourself being trained by some of the
best? Only here, only at the Oklahoma D-Day event.

For more details on each of these units as well as
on how to sign up for the one of your choice, either
drop me a note or better still give my office a call.

Sincerely,

It's time to get registered! If you're running with Keith and Scott in the 2nd Armor Group, or you're running with the 4th Infantry Division, the 82nd or some other Allied unit, you need to get off your butt and send in that registration. The dealine to choose your unit is coming up FAST!

If you're with Keith and Scott you probably know some of the surprises they have planned for the Germans on Utah Beach. It should be fun. It looks to be a great game. The half track is only part of their plan.
