Offer a man a drink and it throws it in your face. This is definitely an anti-Junkie person.

Nothing better than beating poor sports of the game! Let's all go out there next year and stomp them into the ground!

Oh, Junkie and Jess he's threatened to shoot photographers on site!
Well considering -
1) A PBJunkie Photographer was used by the Allies to spy on me at the game and the only place the pictures ended up, was probably on Risken's or Engler's harddrives.
2) There was a plot to impersonate photographers to assassinate key German commanders that was approved by the Allied Command.
3) I've yet to see non-biased coverage of the D-Day game to date. It always features the Allies and how they either won or lost. So I see no reason to allow or consent to being photographed or interviewed when it won't be used in a constructive way that benefits the game and both sides?

You create the situation and promote mistrust of photographers by mis-using them and I stand by my statement. Really. Do I have a choice?

Am I anti-Junkie, well considering my first impression of PBJunkie was a moderator crapping on my thread.... well, I guess I am. And as for throwing a drink in your face, well... I little harsh, but a mod should know better than to thread crap on another member's recruiting threads... which in retaliation, was the reason why I crapped on the 82nd's on on SpecOps.. or is it just playful bantering?

Am I a poor sport? No, just bitter at the wide scale abuse, lying and ad-hoc changes of the rules last year to the point where I didn't want to play against the present Allied Command. - A prime example: "I will not mass the Airborne.... be it they will be separated into regiments with a distance of 50 ft... but I will not mass the Airborne" which was a statement of double talk made by Psycho, the Supreme Allied Commander. Guess what? the Airborne was massed at game on and along with several other contributing "changes" won the game for Allies, when more than likely they would have won anyways because they brought their "A" game and we maybe had a "B".

However, I play this next year under the urging of Dewayne who has guaranteed all will be on the up and up. I also apologize for possibly derailing this thread, but I felt this post needed to be answered.

I can assure you this much, Buckshot; I have been a monthly columnist and contributing editor to Paintball 2Xtremes and the old Crossfire for almost five years. I have never, and would never stoop to compromise my integrity along the lines you note. My features have never given favoritism to either side of the fence, no matter which side I may have been personally playing on. Although I was not there and cannot comment on any of the accusations you have made, I can tell you that I would never consider it as a journalist and photographer.

No need to apologize, for this thread or those on other forums. As I've said before the German leadership is basically a bunch of good guys, that includes Buckshot. But the game is intense and hard fought, and much of the planning and strategy goes on year round. There's a lot of emotion and passion that goes into the event. Each side sees the same things differently.

2008 should be a great event with a great climatic battle on Saturday. That's why Keith and the rest of the Allied command is hard at it recruiting tanks, planes, infantry, airborne, anti-tanks units, and the rest.

Buckshot and the rest of his German command will bring nothing but their A+ game to Oklahoma this year. We're all sure of that! I'm glad he's back in command of his division. It will make for a better event.

Keith has gotten a great start on his 2nd Armored Group but we still need more - more tanks, more teams, more people. Junkie is a great group of people and I hope as many as possible joins either the 2nd AG or another Allied group. Contact either Keith or I for more information srisken623@aol.com

Same here. As owner of PBjunkie.com I can assure you that as a contributing editor to Paintball Sports Magazine, Paintball 2Xtremes and Paintball News I have never interfered with the integrity of the game. I couldn't give a rats ass who wins what games. I focus solely on my work and the occasional check that comes in from the magazines 4 to 5 months down the road.

I was not there either and I have never been there but I can assure you that from what I heard of the threats I'm considering never going to the event. It's not like I don't get hit enough for 1/3 of the money to pay for hosting this site.

As owner of this site, I don't follow every post or every thread so I'm not exactly sure what happened in your recruiting threads. If you want to recruit here in the future I'm sure the Mods will leave the threads alone. If not, contact me via PM and I'll take care of it.

My last comment.. Folks this a GAME! Nothing more...

This is unacceptable and incorrect statement. The moderator was being a D-Day competitor when posting in your thread. Yes, the moderators have a duty to ensure the topic stays on topic and sometimes that becomes relaxed because of the fun people are having. Hey, I understand that. We are all human.

If you have a problem in the future you can PM me or use the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the page. I will put topics back on track!

I think Keith took about 3000 photos and they are all published here. www.pbjunkie.com/gallery/showgallery.php/cat/572

I think he had them up within a few days of the end of the D-day event. He even broke them down by day of the week to make it easier. There's some great ones there.

Well... that sure was an interesting read. lol Hello all, this is Stephen "Cheko" Babb from the 899th Tank Destroyer Battalion. Think it is about time to get this thread back on track and figured that I would try to help do that.

Whatever feelings aside, this is a great game and one that you should not miss. The 2nd Armored Group is going to be an awesome unit next year under the leadership of General Mitts. I had the chance to meet with him during the week a few times, and can tell you that he is a great person to play with. He even had some fun shooting at us while we were training and came by the 899th campfire the night after we won the game on Saturday.

Now, as to the 899th, we are looking for some of the toughest, bravest, and quite literally, the craziest SoBs out there. Got brains? We don't need them. Got guts? Hope you brought seconds. lol That is a little joke that we toss around because you have to be nuts to join the unit that is tasked to CHARGE enemy tanks and take them out so that your advance can push forward. If you have any questions about the 899th, be sure to pass them on to me through a PM. I will be checking back and forth between quite a few websites periodically and will even get our own thread started up before too long. Look forward to seeing you guys on the field!

2nd Armor

Just a few quick points about the 2nd which can't be
highlighted enough. This unit consists of far more than
just tanks and tank killers.

There's room here for you if you'd like to spend most
of your time filming them over the week leading up to
the main event.

There's room here for you here if you want to spend
time fending off attempts by the enemy to target your
fellow tankers.

There's room here for you if you want to insure that
there's always plenty of spare ammo, air, water and
food ready when tanks come off the field to resupply.

Sincerely,

Thanks Chekotai86, it was great meeting you guys, already looking forward to 2008.

2nd Armored is going to be the sledgehammer of the Allied Army. This unit will be very difficult to stop.

Latest Announcements: Jes is moving to the XO position of Woody's 41st Armored Infantry. Ol' Dawg will be my new Aide de Camp. Pedestrians beware!!!
