One more push!

I'm sure you've all hear these kinds of statments at some time
in your life, "Give it one more try," "just a little more and you'll
have it." Well those same statements apply to our effort to reach
our full enlistment level this year. Even with all the help we've
gotten from the folks here in this foprum, there's still a number
of slots in a few of our units that need filling.

Everyone of you who is committed to coming probably knows at
least one more buddy who isn't. Maybe it's the cost of gas, or the
fact that he's never been here so he's really not sure if it's a game
he'd like. There's probably a thousand reasons why someone isn't
joining you, but despite that I'd like to ask each and every one of
you to make one more pitch, one more effort to push to get them
to sign up. If all we do by this is raise another 20-30 additional
team members we'll be able to drive the Germans off the field. If
we hit out goal we'll be there to help support the drive to take
Utah and Omaha Beach, Colleville and the Airfield and we'll ALL
be able to say we did it again for another year.

Sure playing is fun but winning is even more fun, so get off
your computer, pick up your phone or head on over to your
local field and find that one more player who will help to insure
us another allied victory.

Sincerely,

Absolutely your last chance to register before they shut down
pre-registration at the bunker as well as via their on-line system.

After today you'll have to wait till you reach the field, where you
can then sign up as a walk-on. If you're waiting to see what the
weather might be like, my suggestion is to get there AT LEAST
two or three days before the event, especially if you've never
been there, so you can get squared away with the field, as well
as the unit they're going to assign you to. Nothing like not being
able to figure out what's going on or where you need to be after
that first trip to the dead zone.
