I think it's was a great move and I agree base security was responsible. I just think the use of a shirt given to him under that context was in-appropriate.

Sadly it happens, I think the fault lies with base security though, You can't assume a t-shirt will act as a pass...

Clever play, cant deny him that. A successful play at that. But controversial? it could be. I think it was right of him to appologize to the team, but for the ploy i think not

All's Fair in the Love of Paintball

Having just returned from the Free Finale, and having been barrell tagged by a shady 12 year old dead man walking with his dad, I think this was actually more honorable than that. The fellas running base security goofed, and for that shame on them. So long as he didn't have on the opposing color tape.

Note to self...Never hand out "honorary jerseys"

LOL I think it was very good. They shouldn't be looking at the cloths they wair rather the arm tape and ID. It was the outher teams falt for being careliss, don't let your guard down. If they had people pulling base security which is a layed back sort of " I don't have to run every where job" then at lest they should be on the ball .

I think the issue isn't with whether it is against the rules, but rather if it was the honorable thing to do. My opinion is that if someone honors you with their team colors it should be just that....An honor. Something that should be treated with the proper respect and not used against that team in the future.

Imho

I have no problem with the use of an enemy team t-shirt during a scenario to gain an advantage. Kudos! However, I do consider it shady and underhanded to deliberately remove/conceal one's team colors. It is entirely unacceptable to intentionally wear clothes over your tape or remove your team tape. I would consider the only legitimate means of getting away with concealing team colors would be to do it at say... dusk, when colors are hard to distinguish, or use one of the simple tricks of holding your gun over your arm badge, etc.

I have no problem with the use of the opposing "team's" t-shirt. Yet, I do disagree with the act of intentionally stripping the assassin of team tape.

Im with Zen on this one. This is SCENARIO paintball. Wayne's games have always been full of spycraft, and Viper was just playing Wayne's game.
