Silverback, you forgot about the beer. German beer is awesome - heffeweizen that is. Yeah, the women rock too! Too bad, you won't have them for long, seeing as how we will be taking them away from you after the butt kicking and all...nothing personal-just comes with the territory!

The Germans were obsessed with purity since at least 1516, when they wrote a law saying the only legal ingredients in beer were water, barley, and hops. Natural yeasts started the fermentation process (no one knew about yeast until the 1800's), and were later allowed.

It is regrettable the Germans took the notion of purity to later atrocities, but in beer I think they had it right.

American swill sucks the big one. Corn? Rice?!?!? COME ON!!!!

Yes it seems I forgot the heffeweizen, I particularly like Hacker Pschorr. I didn't mention the beer because most American palutes are not sophisticated enough to appreciate fine German Beer. They have been burnt out by swill like Budweiser, Schlitz and Miller. As for kicking butt and taking our women...we'll have to see how that works out....

Yeah, American beer tastes like piss water compared to German beer. My all-time favorite is Konig Ludwig. If you can ever get your hands on some, I recommend it! I had the privelege og being stationed in Germany for 4 years. Absolutely loved it! In fact, I think I'm gonna bring some heffeweizen for the occasion. Paulaner is pretty good. I'm starting to get thirsty over here!
