ZSquad will be rolling in early Saturday morning. One of the kids missed to many days of school and I cannot pull him to be there on Friday. So we will miss the Friday Party. So Castro save me a spot to park the big white van and our tent. Hope to bring the whole family (wife and daughter included) for this one.

I really, Really, REALLY need to shoot something!

Or warming up pop-tarts in the warthog with the hot plate behind the driver seat (engine). Which happens to be where the paint sits. lol

Good to see everyone is lively for the event. Black Karma, you missed out on alot of fun last Sunday at Mt. Doom. Delta Dogs (Huntsville/Decatur scenario team) was down there. Get up with me, I can tell you how to know when it's their punishment time again, err........... I mean they will come again. You can come down also. Just good clean fun. Doug makes up some fun games, it's never boring. Also, they will be hosting some big scenarios very shortly in the future. I'll PM on this.

Good Luck everyone. -
Hate to hear we missed out on a good game! We had planned on going to Mt. Doom this past Saturday, but they had a private party going all weekend. Definitely let me know when y'all get over there again. Would like to hook up!

I took Friday off so I plan on being up at BC early evening on Thursday or Friday morning to get a good spot for the tent. I may have 1 or 2 teammates that will be able to show that early as well. Looking forward to meeting all the teams and having a good time, especially throwin' paint downrange!

Update on Bastogne!

Having gotten all personal business out of the way, Bonnie & I are back focusing on the game. I'm very excited about the game's potential; should be very unique, unlike anything we have ever done before. The map is done & we'll have it posted for everyone to see in the next 24 hours. I always like to try new things & believe me, this one is going to be intense! The close proximity of the bases & the need to move troops as each team probes the others' positions for weakness should make for a high intensity attack & counterattack type game, full of surprises! Kind of like the actual battle, if you know what I mean... There will be one variable that has to be accounted for by the Generals, & that will be the use of artillery.

Let's all get onboard with the Friday night Fundraiser for Mark Anderson, one of the founders of the Scenario Brotherhood, an inspiration & one of our friends in need. Come hungry, give generously, & Heaven help us all on Saturday morning.

When we get the map up, you'll notice a few changes in Bear Claw. Bob, Susie, & RJ have worked very hard on prepping the field for this event. We are going to have a tank battle in the big open pasture behind Bear Claw's pro shop. I think Bob said it is close to 50 acres. I need to know how many tanks are coming, so I can start balancing the sides. Please let me know ASAP!

There will be a lot of industry people & sponsors coming in. Tippmann's rolling in with their semi (Erich, I'm looking forward to seeing you!), & we should have 5 or 6 other vendors setting up. I love the fact that the industry's focus is on scenarios & that they'll have a chance to meet some of the greatest scenario teams in the country - and I do mean ya'll.

Please Register as Early as you can so I can work with my Generals to balance this game to keep it as competitive & fair as possible. I know it's not the easiest thing to do, especially for those with large teams, but please do the best you can.

I'm pumped for this game & I hope you will be too. Let's make this something special for Bob & Susie, as it's their 10th Anniversary Game!

Lastly, I want to say a word about Ardennes at PB Charleston, I want to thank the players for making it truly a special event, full of sportsmanship & intense play. Thank you Brain for all your hard work on manicuring that field like I have never seen done before. And thanks to your right hand man, Rasta, you did a hell of a job. Great reffing helped everything to come together for a really great event.

See you on the field,
Ben
