I talked to Ben a few days ago, he was looking for generals for the other teams. He has some people in mind he was going to get in touch with, but if you are interested, send a PM, his ID on here is Stryker. I will say, the Americans are a little strewn out on the Bases (yes, baseS). OOppps, let some of the cat out of the bag.
I read my first post and realized I didn't mention our base. It is the upside down pool. (good and close to the entrance) <any Japanese remember Iwo Jima?>. My kids call it the submarine. The U.S. base, according to Ben, is the Roman fort. The German North, to the town above the main top road, kind of a circle building. The U.S. will have in addition to the Roman Fort(last I talked to Ben), 4 satellite bases. The latter of which represent the support of the cut off city of Bastogne. The map should be coming out any day now, so I didn't fudge too much. The rest is locked in the vault.
Still freakin on the gatling gun. Wonder if it is like "old painless" in The Predator. Seen one on the web somewhere, it was for sale too, at $9,000.00 But it was one B-A-MO-FO. Even the fattest of men would run like the wind with that shooting at them. I can't even imagine how much it costs to feed that thing
A lot of requests for roles coming in. Thought I'd post something on this. I will have to wait until the final "roster" is out. I won't be able to give everyone a role. There are just not enough cards. So please don't be offended if you don't get one. I am giving cards to the battle harded troops first. I am aiming to win this.
I will need to get with some of the teams and the "vets" for a few "ideas" I have. I have done alot of "shadowing" missions. Alot of you never knew I was there. Always getting behind the enemy. I learned alot about how teams react to a group attacking them. It is time to put that knowledge to good use.
I'm already jacked up about this thing, it's going to be a long wait. AND, somebody's going to have to put a leash on me during general missions. The hardest part of being a general is going to be staying safe(not running into the middle of things like normal), I know the teams we have already will take care of business.
