I wish we could make it on the 24th, but we've already got a game scheduled for that day.
.
Is there somewhere that your game dates are posted?

Registration for this tournament is now open. For registration information, email phoenixcompanyco@yahoo.com

MORE INFO:

its in LaVergne, TN
Stones River Rd

APRIL 5th, 2008
0900-1700

there is a lunch break. 1230-1330

$20/person

teams of 12 or more get 50% off of registration.

paint is byop/field paint. field paint is from APEX, they use ZAP and some other brands. Prices vary, but around $37 w/ tax on up.

its in the woods, by percy priest lake, theres meadows/fields, a few paths for tanks, and lots of woods and trails. there will be several different objectives for each team to individually accomplish throughout the game. those objectives will be known only to the general of each team at the beginning of the scenario. there are some interesting twists to the plot.

Is this game still going on? If so, we will be bringing anywhere from 15-25 people with us. Will email you the list when it gets closer to time.

Will there be air fills? If so, how much?
Where on Stones River Road? Will there be a sign?

Thumbs down More information on this game.

I was just sent this information on this game. It seems that the format has changed.
Below is what I was sent from Colt Dickerson of phoenixcompanyco.

the meeting place will be pool knob boat ramp.....
Quote:

its off of fergus rd in lavergne
try and show up on friday after 2pm if you can....somebody will be there to
collect all the info from your group....
as far as i know, no one will be on hand to do air but im working on that and im
trying to convince APEX mobile air to do it, but i have to call them again....
it would be helpful to me to get them out there if the attendees would call them
and see if they will be out there as well.....
their telephone is 615-427-9604
thanks for your continued interest.....
just send all your registration info back to this email asap!
names of all participants(first, last)
ages
which side each player wants to join (republic, new confederacy, new u.s.)

thanks again!

Colt

I do not know about other teams, but this has caused us to rethink the idea of attending. We had planned on a day game. First it was on Stones River Road, now it is on another road. They want us to camp and take a boat ride to an island to play. Plus they do not know if they will have air there or not.

The origianl post for this game, and what shows up on Spec Ops is misleading. Take the above into account before you decide to go.

Ghost Squad will not be attending.

also, that was originally posted back in november when i first started working out the details, then i was granted permission to play on an island and i sent emails out as soon as i could.....this is my first time setting up an event like this, but you should maybe be a little more professional. I believe when we spoke at bear claw in december i told you it was on an island. ummm, yeah i did, b/c it was the middle of december when i was told i could use it for the event....my bad for not updating the blog here on pbjunkie.....
i apologize for anything ive said to offend you or anyone else on here that will read this, but maybe you should email me to verify things since you do have direct contact with me through my email?
just a thought.....
thanks

i want to see you succeed in your efforts to produce this game. here are some things that might help:

1. keep your eyes on the other producers and games. you wont want yours to clash with a real popular yearly game or series. i.e. the m.o.u.t. games at anniston. doesnt matter whats goin on, when responder city opens its doors, we drop what were doing and head to the field. when most of us start a series, we will play it to the end hitting other games in between.

2. have online, a downloadable registration packet. pdf format is great. include in it a reg form, a producer waiver and a field waiver. make sure everybody knows where its at and have it available with plenty of time to get it mailed in. my team registers for a game about a month early leaving plenty of time to get on junkie and smack talk for it.

3. be specific. there are no small details. alot of us will ask what kind of paint/air is available and how much before we even review the scenario. you will want to include paint and air info in your field waiver and have a spot where we can mark how many estimated cases we will need per registree. this will give you or your supplier an idea of how much to bring. i have seen games that ran out of paint. not good.
we are not going to be able to attend due to proximity to the bastogne game.
