Camp Blanding Event for 2005 !!

Sorry so late posting this. Before you read on, you must get pre-registered by this upcoming Monday for the cheaper pricing:

For the first time since 9/11/2001, a civilian recreational activity is being permitted on the Camp Blanding MOUT facility near Starke, FL. This is an active National Guard joint training facility.

For the first time since July 2001, MXS has been granted permission to produce a 24-hour paintball event at this venue. Over 600 players participated in that inaugural event.

Paintball returns to Camp Blanding on Sept. 3-4 - Labor Day weekend!

This is not a paintball field. This is an active military training facility. But, it is THE MOST cool venue to play paintball in the USA!
Images from the 2001 event can be seen here: http://www.mxsportz.com/photos/thumbnails.php?album=14

Since this will take place on an active military installation, the rules and laws governing the use of the location are different and slightly more restrictive. Each and every person will be / is subject to Military, Federal, State and Local Laws.
Everyone will be subject to search and seizure by military personnel. As you can imagine, there will be no drugs, alcohol or contraband allowed on the facility.

Violators will be sent packing with no refund (at the minimum) and subject to time spent in custody of military police (at the maximum). Specific instructions for player procedures, conduct, fees, deadlines, registration form, waivers, images, accomodation locations, on-site camping information, arrival information, event schedule and rules will be available on the event web pages (coming soon to www.mxsportz.com).

Admission will be limited and on a first-register basis. Registration will be done through the US mail (no online registration). Checks and money orders only (no credit cards) will be accepted for registration.
Cash only at the event.

Non-player access (spectators, media and family members) will be limited.
There will be no rental equipment available.
EVERY PERSON ON SITE MUST HAVE ASTM approved paintball goggle systems.

Book airline tickets to arrive at either Gainesville or Jacksonville (each an hour away, + or - ). Hotels and campgrounds near Starke will book fast. Make plans accordingly.

No one except staff members and vendors will be allowed on-site until Friday, Sept. 2. A specific time will be announced.

No unsupervised children - under the age of 18 - will be allowed on the facility.

Plan for hot, humid weather, and possibly dry field conditions.

Referees experienced with the GSRP and MXS games are needed. An arrangement is on the table. Contact Bobby Goedecke at: trips@mxsportz.com

Certified/licensed EMTs and First-Responders who will be in attendance should contact mother@mxsportz.com

A clean-up crew will be needed for Sunday and Monday. A compensation arrangement is on the table. Contact pacman@mxsportz.com

Event staffing will be needed for Friday-Sunday.
Self-transportation is a must.

Stay tuned for all the information. Make your travel arrangements now. Prepare to be a part of this long-awaited paintball event.

Camp Blanding is in Starke, Florida, approx 1 hour from Gainesville and Jacksonville. This is gonna be a great game, MXS always does there best. Orbital Reign, Trigger Happy, Team ZT, and Xtreme Fanatics will all be siding with Jayson from SpecOps, hope to see you all out there if you can make it

Second Time

This will be my second game at Blanding. It really is a great place to play, surrounded by woods with parking and camping directly across from the site. Very nice. Castro, quit whining! Jeez...you'd think you were playing a game a month or something. Wiener.
