Protocol, awesome game. Would be nice to have chronos at each base to check speed when reincerting. The terrain was unbelievable. Going down hill was easy, the uphill was murderous. I have never had to climb hills like that for so long before. I have a totally higher respect for our military personnel that have to do that on a regular basis. To both sides, I enjoyed playing with all of you. You showed true integrity and played with honor. I salute you.

props to all...

I think the final score was like 11,200 henchmen to 8,200 OO's

henchmen : section8/roadkill + japs/riot + dog co
00's : paincell + pirates + omniforce + blackhearts + locals

Total players - around 76 from my headcount at initial briefing - I think the hills killed off a few after a few hours.

Protocol : great job on the event. Exceptional job for a first event. Major props on the adjustments made during the game to try and level things out.

The field: rough man. It was a long, long way uphill back to the henchman's spawn. The field reminds me of wildfire - but with the spawns on top of the hills. For those who love open field play - this place is incredible. A true dream for the APEX barrel system and Flat Line guys.

Pirates: way to hang tough ladies. Lots of hard fight in these boys. (ps: we were in the woods silly)

Paincell : a pleasure as allways. I cant believe drew was running missions... who knew? Spydie: great work with the silly string. He got me good - but totally goo'ed both sides of steer's head. very funny stuff.

Omniforce: nice move on our base Russell - scared the pahuties out of me. Not bad for an old man.

Major props to the locals - we didnt run in to a fire fight with a bunch of noobs or slack ballers. Every firefight was hard fought.

RIOT/JAPS: great running with you guys. I know we butted heads at Gettysburg - but after yesterday, I have a new strong respect for THE RIOT. ALL of my teammates said similar. Very honorable clean play. Exceptional sportsmanship.

Dog Co: welcome to the deep end fellows. I wish we could have worked even closer - but the hill killed a lot of good intentions.

PROPS to SCONYIERS BBQ (4 miles east on 520) -- great place - and I double dog dare anyone to finnish the plantation platter - what a beast.

----------
on the constructive side -
The PMI Stinger had an invisible thin yellow fill that you could barely see break at distance. and had a very tough rec shell. Given the longball nature of the field, a thin shelled, orange or pink filled ball would have been much better.

Chrono's at the spawns after the initial check in.

Net off the bases - all sides

Water coolers at the bases

This is a pretty cool field for winter months. and cooler months.

Lol, most of us went into the woods once. At the end of the game on the last mission.

Other than that we were running around the middle field area shooting at Riot and missing horribly...lol.

Good game though Thumper, and all of Section 8.

Thumper pretty much summed up the Henchman experience. I'd like to add what a great fight MI6 put up for this shindig.

Great job Jeff and Rick! Very nice game - especially so for it being their first scenario!

And to the lovely ladies who manned the registration table. Fantastic job!

To the refs, especially Tim, great job! Thanks!!

Also a big hearty thanks to Fort Gordon Morale, Welfare and Recreation for allowing us access to the field and for providing lunch for us! And a special thanks to the soldiers who pulled duty on Saturday to man the mess tent for us! Soldier On! Ooo RAH!

Protocol, Rick, for your first scenario, y'all did an awesome job!

I felt like I was in Vietnam with the hills and thick wooded areas and climbing the terrain back and forth has put my feet out of order for the next few days.

Doughboy, Sprinklertop, it was great getting to run missions with y'all. Both of you allways had my back and were on spot where we needed you.

Great Job!!!

Dog Co. -It was a real pleasure getting to finally play with y'all in a scenario, you guys definately run hardcore and I was glad to have y'all on my team!

RoadKill - you guys simply rock....hands down rock. At every mission, you all were in country and waiting on me to arrive, you were first to engage the 00's and held your grown for the rest of the army to arrive.

When the last mission was given, I had arrived at the Bahamas with 6-8 players and in less than 6 minutes, was down to three. I kept calling aerion up, asking for help, and was on the verge of being overrun and just when I thought that all hope was lost, y'all appear like ghosts with Section8 and Japs? across the little river and secure the area.....hard core!

Grendel, you did your job incredibly well. Solid leadership in pushing the army forward and with a SniperII, you and the rest of roadkill are unstoppable!
Way to go.

DJ-Had an awesome time playing with ya. I know you were there to save my butt at the last mission and were allways on spot to get the job done...sorry to hear of your gun troubles on the field.

I can't remember their names, but there are two people I've got to recognize.
One was a henchment dressed in red speedball gear, who ran with the me almost the entire time. Way to go man! He was there with me when we arrived to missions and did his part well in holding the perimeter and even made the effort to run on the way back to base for another missions card.
The other was our missions ref. This guy makes the second ref I've ever known to keep up with me running across the field on missions. aside of the jokes and smack talk, he never complained once of having to do run that hard. Very much thanks for doing an excellent job as Missions Ref!!!!

Pain-Cell -as allways, it was a pleasure getting to play with y'all but this time, against y'all. Spyderman did an awesome job in bringing the fight to us and making passing that stream nearly inpossible. I really wished he would have come out for the duel, but that will be saved for the next event . Drew, I could have sworn I saw you skipping in the hills from our base and saw you maybe two other times when we were on missions. Good job and good hussel!

Carolina Riot/Japs -Whenever support was needed y'all were allready there blasting those pirates away. Allways up in the middle, I'm sure y'all got a good bit of action. Excellent job!!!
Merilu- I was really glad that we got to run together in that mission at the bahamas. We made solid wingman in holding off those pirates and the mission was a complete. Great Hussel!
Japs, what can I say, you crack me up every time and are allways there to keep me moving...Lots of love to y'all!!!!

p.s.--there was quite a bit of kissing and male bonding over this event...wouldn't you say? LOL

Henchment, great job in staying on mission and pushing hard the whole day.

Aerion-Excellent job in commanding the henchmen. With this being your first command, I must say that your a natural. You delegated well, ran the missions, and kept everyone on task as to what needed to be done.

now if you will excuse me, I'm going to go back to sleep

That's right ladies and gentlemen, "DEAD,FAST" is worn slap out. The way he and I came over the ridge on the airport mission was rediculously fast. I think it lasted less than 15 seconds.

Man what a blast

First off i have to start out by saying what a awesome time i had and then i have to say that i'll be using my rascal to get around today those hills just absolutely killed my legs!! This was my second senario and boy what an education i recieved again from Section 8.

Protocal/ Rick- From the limited experience i have in playing senario paintball i thought it was run very well with a few mionor adjustments needed but thumper already handled that. You really put on a good time and i hope to attend more events hosted and it would also be really cool if you could hook up with MPP. Just a suggestion.

Aerion- Thanks for the great leadership and help to keep me on task but allowing to have fun while doing it. Just by the words you spoke i learned so much.

Thumper - Just by watching you play and sittin back observing a few times i learned so much.

Dolfan- Hanging out with you was a blast and you inspired me too kepp my little short legs moving..

Last but surely not least STEERS- You are dumb foundlying fast To qoute the longest yard " You make fast look fast" I had a great time playing with you and your knowledgeable beyond your years stay under Aerion and Thumpers tutioledge and you'll be remember through the ages!!

Riot/ Japs- I never got to play directly with you but i loved your engery and spirit and to the player who helped my wife Sweetshot K when we meet again my friend the first few drinks are on me!!

OO's- Thanks for a great fight i would play with you any day this time just happen to be against you!!!

Well my fingers are tired now and if i left anyone or any team out its not on purpose i just simply can't sit down at the computer and type for that long. Can't wait to play with you all again stay safe and stay slinging paint!!

P.S. Steers was right there was quite a bit of kissing going on and more offers made!!!!
