Just a few of the events that I can recall from the game:

-Steers sprinting to 200 yards to the airport to blow up the plane in like 20secs (The shortest mission ever I think) Next time I will make that backpack weight 75 lbs to slow you down a little. But awesome job.

-Spyderman getting Thumper with silly string.

-Thumper shooting a SC Pirate with a PUMP OK who's going to fess up. Which one of you were owned.

-One of the SC Pirates did bunker a guy with silly strink for points. Very fun to watch. Who said you guys don't do missions?

-The card game in Casino Royal with a fire fight going on around us. Should have made the game last a little longer.

-Steers sprinting to another mission.

-The guy from Dog Company turning in a marker he found on the field. Thanks so much for your honesty.

I'm sure there were many more that I did not see.

I would like to thank everyone for the patience as we organized and tweaked things throughout the day. Next time I'm sure we will be better prepared with a little experience under our belt. Thanks also to Dog Company for having someone take some pics. Can't wait to see them.

The Refs for this event were all speedball refs and had never reffed a scenario event. Other than having to tell some of the younger refs to spread out a little they did an outstanding job I think. This is where it really helped having a lot of experienced teams that play really honestly. We will try to have more refs at the next one though (can you ever have too many).

The folks from the Fort were impressed by the turnout (88 was the final count I believe) and the way everything went so I am sure they will be more willing to work with Rick on any future events.

Thumper, I couldn't agree more with the suggestions.

-Chrono's at bases
-Lots of water at bases
-Maybe find a little flatter field with a little more cover. Fort Gordon has thousands of acres so this shouldn't be to difficult.
-Tweak the missions a little
-And definitely completely net in the entire base tent. Sorry we were a little short.

ps. I am soooo sore today.

Hey Spyderman, Drew,

Doughboy, Sprinklertop, it was great getting to run missions with y'all. Both of you allways had my back and were on spot where we needed you.

Great Job!!!

Dog Co. -It was a real pleasure getting to finally play with y'all in a scenario, you guys definately run hardcore and I was glad to have y'all on my team!

RoadKill - you guys simply rock....hands down rock. At every mission, you all were in country and waiting on me to arrive, you were first to engage the 00's and held your grown for the rest of the army to arrive.

When the last mission was given, I had arrived at the Bahamas with 6-8 players and in less than 6 minutes, was down to three. I kept calling aerion up, asking for help, and was on the verge of being overrun and just when I thought that all hope was lost, y'all appear like ghosts with Section8 and Japs? across the little river and secure the area.....hard core!

Grendel, you did your job incredibly well. Solid leadership in pushing the army forward and with a SniperII, you and the rest of roadkill are unstoppable!
Way to go.

DJ-Had an awesome time playing with ya. I know you were there to save my butt at the last mission and were allways on spot to get the job done...sorry to hear of your gun troubles on the field.

I can't remember their names, but there are two people I've got to recognize.
One was a henchment dressed in red speedball gear, who ran with the me almost the entire time. Way to go man! He was there with me when we arrived to missions and did his part well in holding the perimeter and even made the effort to run on the way back to base for another missions card.
The other was our missions ref. This guy makes the second ref I've ever known to keep up with me running across the field on missions. aside of the jokes and smack talk, he never complained once of having to do run that hard. Very much thanks for doing an excellent job as Missions Ref!!!!

Pain-Cell -as allways, it was a pleasure getting to play with y'all but this time, against y'all. Spyderman did an awesome job in bringing the fight to us and making passing that stream nearly inpossible. I really wished he would have come out for the duel, but that will be saved for the next event . Drew, I could have sworn I saw you skipping in the hills from our base and saw you maybe two other times when we were on missions. Good job and good hussel!

Carolina Riot/Japs -Whenever support was needed y'all were allready there blasting those pirates away. Allways up in the middle, I'm sure y'all got a good bit of action. Excellent job!!!
Merilu- I was really glad that we got to run together in that mission at the bahamas. We made solid wingman in holding off those pirates and the mission was a complete. Great Hussel!
Japs, what can I say, you crack me up every time and are allways there to keep me moving...Lots of love to y'all!!!!

p.s.--there was quite a bit of kissing and male bonding over this event...wouldn't you say? LOL

Henchment, great job in staying on mission and pushing hard the whole day.

Aerion-Excellent job in commanding the henchmen. With this being your first command, I must say that your a natural. You delegated well, ran the missions, and kept everyone on task as to what needed to be done.

now if you will excuse me, I'm going to go back to sleep
Section 8 definitely ranks up there with all of us from the New Riot as well.. it took us three hours to get situated and ready to find a restaraunt after the game.. we were disappointed by losing the opportunity to eat dinner with you guys.. (Lora hid Sneaky's car keys; made for a potentially volatile arrangement). We're all certainly looking forward to a new relationship on the field (and off) and I think this game made for an excellent new beginning.. Steers, I will run with you any day man.. granted my abs are killing me and I still havent quite caught my breath from hauling ass in that last mission, but I will do it again in a heartbeat.. Thumper, Aerion, Deebo, Drac, and the rest: keep strong dudes, we look forward to teaming up with you all again in the very near future!

Just wanted to thank everyone for a great time. My son and I had an absolute blast, and will be looking for more scenarios. I'm still worn out, plus after resting, found my knee busted. I can barely walk, lol. Believe it's from climbing up and down that steep hill to the 00's base. It was a tough field and I am way out of shape.

I wasn't sure if my son was going to have a good time or not. After getting hit in our 1st skirmish over by the creek, he was like wow that was awesome. At the end of the entire event, I about had to carry him off the field. The kid wouldn't rest and stayed on the field the entire day. When we got home he proudly showed off his PB bruises to mom, LOL.

Thanks again to everyone.
