Bobio,

I need to look at the layout of the property he has been given to use for accessability and such. I will try to get you an answer by the end of the week. I will say this, it would be very cool to have a couple tanks out there.

Excellent if we get the Blackhearts & some of the other teams from this area it will be a good game.

And Ive got around a dozen Section8 already lined up ready to play, cause we LOVE new dirt.

If you can get Camojester or Spyderman to general, I'm sure I can find a Section8 volunteer play the opposing general - for the glory of the day my brothers - no grudges or any such poo'ie. Do that, and we can have us a bonafied Section8 vs Paincell throwdown - ala. Bond..

I talked with the owner tonight and he said tanks were not thought about until this point and it would probably take months to get approval for tanks. So no tanks for this one but he will start the process for future events after this one. I had already started thinking of some tank lead missions too.

I looked at the property today and it looks pretty nice. Woods, some open area in the middle, a creek crossing, a lot of ridges and berms and other terrain features. The bases will sit about 300 yards from each other and will have a direct line of site, so a pair of binoculars might come in handy for keeping an eye on the enemy. We have set it up so that both bases will have approximately the same walk from the parking lot and insertion points. There is a large paved parking lot with some grassy area around it that everyone will be able to park and stage in. So plenty of room for everyone and a uniquely different field. More info when I get it.

Here is a VERY ROUGH draft of the boundries and where the bases will be located at the x's. Forgive my lack of computer and artistic skills.

The middle appears wide open but has several ridges and berms and the small pines have grown some. You can see some of the ridges. We also plan to put some inflateable bunkers near some of the stategic locations.
