Commonwealth Expeditionary Force - Oklahoma D-Day 2008

The 1st Canadian Parachute Infantry is expanding, and we are looking for players with energy, drive, determination, and discipline to fill its ranks for 2008. As part of the British 6th Airborne Division, Commonwealth Expeditionary Force, the members of the 1st Canadian Parachute Infantry will be called upon to lead Commonwealth offensive efforts across the length and breadth of the D-Day battlefield.

From Pegasus Bridge, to Sword Beach, to Caen, to Colleville, to the Airfield and beyond - in 2007, 1st Canadian Parachute Infantry members raised the Allied flag over four German objectives. We enjoy a winning tradition, and invite you to be a part of it.

The 1st Canadian Parachute Infantry brings together men and women from Canada, the United Kingdom, the United States, and around the world. Our players come from every walk of life, and every conceivable background. We welcome all levels of experience, from the first time player to the seasoned veteran. We are looking for candidates who exhibit personal integrity and sportsmanship, who can think and react independently, who have the discipline and strength of character to effectively represent the battalion and the Commonwealth, and who can work effectively as a member of a larger team.

We take team work and sportsmanship seriously, as evidenced by our win of the Sportsmanship Award at the SPPL Qualifier in Oklahoma in 2007.

As a Canadian paratrooper at Oklahoma D-Day you will deploy behind German lines, and be called upon to accomplish objectives in the face of overwhelming German opposition. You will be required to move quickly and quietly over vast distances, to assault fortified positions, and to coordinate your actions with other Commonwealth and Allied forces. If you want to be at the forefront of the largest and most incredible paintball event in the world, consider the 1st Canadian Parachute Infantry.

If you are interested in enlisting with the 1st Canadian Parachute Infantry, or want more information please contact one of the members of our command team:

CO - Colin "GHOST" Townson: colinfromrus01@hotmail.com
OPS - Rob "DOUBT" Stirling: doubt@theglcf.com
RSM - Jon "GOD" Phan: John_phan@hotmail.com

Also be sure to check us out at the D-Day Commonwealth website: main

Cheers, and God save the King!

I'd like to give the Canadians/Commonwealth a bump; they are a real great group of guys. They are well organized, motivated, coordinated, and straight-up players. If I weren't in the US 2nd Armor, I'd play for the Commonwealth.

Hello mates!
The Commonwealth growth is moving along splendidly, thus far. The CanScots are full and the British 9th PIR and Canadian 1st PIB are nearly so. Now is the time to register in the Commonwealth. At the current rate, the Commonwealth Airbourne will be filled by Christmas. We have 34 Brits and 10 Aussies registered and confirmed to come over.

Cheers

Please keep the banter to the minimum in the recruitment threads. It clutters them up and could potential hurt their recruitment efforts.
