Delta Paintball Team signs with Virtue Paintball, a first in scenario paintball!

(From the nation. Hence the blockage of th virtue name)

V for ******, V for Victory!

Delta Paintball, Inc, is proud to announce that the Delta Paintball Team, a world leader in scenario paintball, has signed into a multiyear deal with ****** Paintball, LLC. The Delta Paintball Team will proudly be using ****** products for the 2006-2007 seasons, showcasing the legendary ****** Board in their Shockers, IONs, and SP-8s.

“We’re all very excited. ****** is the number one board company in all of paintball, and when combined with the Smart Parts markers we’re shooting, it’s going to be mayhem. I feel bad for any poor individual at the business end of my Shocker this season,” said John Nell, Delta Paintball Team Assistant Captain.

The Delta Paintball Team is the first and only non-tournament team sponsored by ****** Paintball, siding them with the likes of the Russian Legion, Chicago Aftershock, New York Extreme, and Ollie Lang. This represents a major step forward the legitimacy of woodsball and scenario-ball.

“One of Delta’s main goals is to bring the professionalism, media coverage, and popularity that one normally associates with tournament paintball, to the other 80% of all paintball players who don’t play in tournaments. Great companies like ****** Paintball and Smart Parts are starting to realize this as well, and we’re incredibly excited to be involved with helping it happen,” commented Josh Foote, Delta Paintball Team Captain.

Foote continued, “When upgrading their marker, most players will start with barrels and bolts… but performance increases are small. Giving your marker a ****** Board fundamentally changes the way it operates – it’s like dropping a whole new engine in your car. It’s not very hard to see why a ****** Board is the number one upgrade in paintball!”

Look for the Delta Paintball Team showcasing ****** Paintball products in their SP-8s, Shockers, and IONs this season, starting at EMR’s 2006 Fall Castle Conquest!

After reading this post and knowing what virtue did (click on the stars) how do you feel about taking on a sponsorship from a vendor with these ethical practices?

Thoughts?

virtue makes a great product, and even with these "un ethical" practices, they still get rave reviews...like if they made a shit product then id be like, no dont do this, but considering how they did what they did and still manage to get sponsorship requests from teams like SD Legacy, NY Extreme, Bushwackers, Stoned Assassins, Oh-Nos, Torq, East Coast Empire, Tremor, Redz Sedition and Rock-It Kids it's obvious they make a great product. They also sponsor individual players such as Nicky Vegas of XSV, Jules Foote, Scott Kressin, and most importantly: Ollie Lang.

But...im going to have to say Predator > Virtue, for the sheer fact that they are a bit more local, and i love my predator.

either way, good move by vritue, looks like they're trying to close the gap between tournament and scenario /rec play!
