  • - Parties, Bar-be-cue, Video Gaming, a Special Ops Tour, a Tour of the Largest Vintage Paintball Marker Collection in the World, Special Patches and lots of good times. The list goes on and on. And, all this takes place during ONE INCREDIBLE WEEKEND. Seriously, we’ve put our heads together and come up with the coolest three days of paintball possible!

If you absolutely MUST be at the Elite Weekend, we suggest you pull together some bucks and pay the $2,500 admission (knocked down to $1,700 for Brigade members.) It’ll be worth every penny, even if you have to sell your car, your CD collection, your skateboard, your dirtbike, etc., etc., . . . But, if you can’t see yourself with $2,500 (or $1,700) to spend on the coolest friggin thing you’ve ever done, don’t despair. There’s a good chance that you can WIN a spot in the Elite Weekend!
During the months of April, May and June 2007, Special Ops Paintball will be pulling from Brigade members to fill at least half of the sixty slots with lucky Brigade members. All you have to do is register for the drawing and you're in.
If taking your chances against the other 100,000 Brigade members just isn't good enough for you, you can pump up your odds BIG-TIME by enrolling new, active Brigade members into the Special Ops Brigade (as well as other contests to be announced during May and June ‘07.) Here's how it works:
  • If you simply register for the lottery, you'll be entered one time (assuming that you're a Brigade member.)
  • If you enroll one other active player into the Special Ops Brigade, then you'll be entered into the drawing for a slot in the Elite Weekend TWO MORE TIMES.
  • For every new, active player who you enroll into the SO Brigade, you'll be entered two more times, without limitation. (Remember, our programming dudes are eagle-eyed overseers of this stuff and they'll definitely catch anyone trying to trick the system. So, if you're a self-appointed hacker-type, don't bother.) Keep it honest and enroll your paintball-playing buddies into the SO Brigade – for free of course – and crank up your chances of winning!!
Other contests will be announced that will also increase your odds of making it onto the Elite Weekend Roster. Every week, Special Ops will dig into the Elite Weekend grab bag and pick a lucky winner or two.
And, if you’ve already purchased your Elite Weekend tuition, and then you win admission, we’ll refund your $2,500 no problem.
While most of the winners will receive free admission, two lucky paintballers will receive all-expenses paid packages including hotel stay and airfare.
So, register now and get to work pumping up your chances of winning!

WHEN: June 22nd through June 24th, ALL DAY for three days. (You'll want to fly in on Thursday and fly out on Monday.)

WHERE: Salt Lake City, Utah.

COST: $2,500 ($1,700 for Brigade members) if you purchase admission and FREE if you win admission (click here to find out how to win.) ONLY THE FIRST 30 PLAYERS TO SIGN UP WILL BE ALLOWED TO REGISTER. DON’T DELAY. THE REMAINING 30 PLAYER SLOTS WILL BE GIVEN AWAY AND THE EVENT WILL BE STRICTLY LIMITED TO 60 PLAYERS OVERALL.

WHO: A pile of paintball pros and celebrities, including Greg Hastings (if you don't know who he is you should ask for an X-Box for Christmas,) a bunch of paintball media, the Special Ops Paintball Factory Crew and around sixty fellow Brigade Members who have come to take their game to the next level and party with the best and brightest woodsballers out there.

WHY: If you have to ask, then you're probably not a sick enough paintball fiend to see the beauty in three days of intense paintball action and partying.

RESTRICTIONS: Unfortunately, we can't allow players under the age of 15. Players 15 to 18 must have signed parental permission. Any health or fitness limitations MUST be shared with event staff.

GEAR: Attendees will receive tons of free gear and will have chances to win a bunch of other stuff. You should bring your gearbag (gun, goggles, air tank, camo. . . All the junk you haul around when you play.) Bring a backup marker if you have one. All paint and air will be provided, compliments of Draxxus.

ACCOMODATIONS: Unless you've won an "all expenses paid" package from SO, you'll be paying for your own hotel room. The good news is that we've negotiated a good rate and you can share a room with another paintballer. Room rates are $35.00 per night and you will be staying four nights. More info hotels.

TRANSPORTATION: You pay for your own airfare (unless you win the all-expenses-paid prizes) and Special Ops will provide transportation to and from events. Everything's fairly close by, but we'll be driving you around on the "short bus" (just like in school.)

FOOD: Most major meals will be provided by Special Ops Paintball. Bring some cash for breakfast or whatever.

LEGAL STUFF: Of course, you'll sign waivers and agreements to abide by safety rules etc.. Also, if you're under 18, you'll need full, signed parental permission (Download the Elite Weekend Waiver/Parental Consent Form - this is a PDF file - Please fax your waiver "Attention SERF" to 801-294-3134). Also, we'll need players to keep their paintball gear stowed when we're traveling around town and going in-and-out of the hotels. We love our community and we want to provide the best possible impression about our sport.

2500 entry fee, that's a big number. You could register a a team in a nppl event for that, and this is for one person?
Wonder if this will affect the turnout much.
I'll be waiting for your pics Junkie!

I wish they would have generals that were scenario or big game players, rather than speedball and x-ball players. Of course the younger crowd may disagree with me, but the tactics involved are completely different. It is like having a baseball game with Shaq and Terry Bradshaw as the managers.

just remember, those players have played woodsball just as long as you have and im 90% sure know how to run a scenario game from the past tournament expierence.

I received an email today indicating they want me to go up in a chopper to get wide angle photo's of the field...

I hope to get some killer pics of this event..

I hear they took entire Cargo Containers and buried them underground for movement, etc...

My point is that, although they may have played woodsball since 1984 like me, they aren't current and active scenario players. I am sure that Shaq and Bradshaw played baseball growing up, but they are not as knowledgable in the nuances that win games as an active manager would be.

Junkie, have I not taught you anything? If you can help it, don't ever fly....Remember, there are guys like me keeping those flying things from smacking each other...lol
