hell yeah nix. maybe we can base the storyline on your actual experiences over seas. and if your broke, we can just let you general, lol. dont worry about the money if you dont have it by game time. just get here.

we have so many crazy ideas man. cannibals family owns a large electricians company and he is going to be my props manager. yall know his ass is crazy. imagine this: your general hands you a mission card that calls for you to take a force to a certain installation behind enemy lines. it says youll need a engineer cause the building may be boobytrapped. your engineer gets shot on the way to the location but you decide to push on and complete the mission without him. you get to the location and open the door and walk in.... the room fills with orange smoke and a high pitch siren rings in your ear. you cannot see or hear your team. you feel a ref grab you on the shoulder and say "your out buddy, the building was wired and youve just been gassed." we are going to make the props interactive to the players and spare no expense.

Let us know

Sounds great. It would be nice not to have to travel outside the state to attend other games.

If you can, let us know sometime in January. We decide our schedule once Ben and others post thier schedules. Price sounds good as well.

One thing, actually two - toilets and showers?

porta potties right now. i will have until spring of next year which may allow us to do real bathrooms and showers. i assure you that if i am going to host a game at this field, that we will invest the time and money to make sure you guys will be comfortable off field as well as on. i believe we will have plenty of time to work out the amenities and impress you guys.

awesome man. your efforts would be greatly rewarded. the field owner has gave me the go ahead on this. i would love to do about 2 of these high end games per year there. we are going up this weekend to survey and see exactly what all will need to be done and to shoot some ball.

all you local guys that would like to come and see the field and meet the staff, they are hosting a 1 day scenario game on june 7th. its a d-day scenario with an actual beach landing like we did at bearclaw back at iwo jima. i am not affiliated with this game, we will just be playing and observing how things go in preparation for the mega game this coming spring. it s 35 bux includes all day air. lunch will be catered and paint and pro shop onsite. its a bring your own paint field as well for those of you with connections for discounted paint.

oh wow man! now thats something real special. you do such a kick ass job. i am soooo excited. i dont think this field owner realizes the magnitude of what is about to unfold. he is gonna shiznit his britches!

i want to thank all you guys for showing enough interest and support to prove to me that this will be something worth spending the time and money to put together. just in 1 day of this post i have recieved so much enthusiastic support that this dream will now become a reality. i promise you guys that we will have an epic adventure awaiting you all this coming spring. we are going to really pull all the stops to make this one of the most insane and talked about games for next year. i just wish i could do it sooner, but i want to really take the time for this one and make it something really special.

here are some things to expect that differ from other games:

an affordable reg and air fee and affordable paint.

realistic plot and game structure. we have eliminated all the shennanigans that cause confusion and take away from the actual grunt fighting of a paintball game.

missions that reward players upon completion. not just points but stuff you can use right then and there.

tanks that are allowed to run as apc's and do "hot" player insertions under fire. alot of games dont allow troop transport.

open firing modes as long as you keep it at 15bps. you bought a fancy marker that can ramp and you should be allowed to use that technology.

props that are interactive and require player interface. expect stuff that goes boom and smokes and even glows in the damn dark! we are going all out on this within the bounds of player safety.

pyrotechnics

we will have trophy awards for teams that really perform above and beyond. if your team plays hard you should have something nice to prove it.

One more suggestion if I may. Have the scenario timeline set up to where players are driving home by 1:30 or 2:00. Sometimes closing award ceremonies can grow lengthy and players might get turned off by not getting home until late Sunday night....you know, no time to lick the wounds before returning to work! To compensate for that loss of Sunday playing time maybe starting around 11:00 am on Saturday instead of noon would work....just a suggestion for what it's worth.

Thumbs up

Havok, everything you have said in this thread sounds great! The prices are great to, Smak Zone in MO is the only place I've seen those good of prices. I am really interested in bringing my team down there for one of your games. The field looks awesome as well, my compliments to whoever built it. I like Viper's suggestion about ending play on Sunday in early afternoon. The ending time is a big factor for us when it comes to traveling more than 6 hours plus you might be able to attract teams from farther away. I wish I lived closer so I could help. Good luck on this exciting new endeavor!
