ya I had a great time out there today. everything went smoothly, and it didnt rain till the award ceremony was over! only had one complaint the whole day and it was getting over shot, twice, by the same guy. but had tons of good memories, like flying the Jap recon and then I see the American recon coming over the hill, so i quickly grab my marker, then I noticed it was their general, so i get behind a bunker, but then I noticed he didnt even have a gun. So I decided to chance him around the communication bunker shooting at him and he didnt have a marker, it was a funny sight

We had a great time today. The rain held off until the game was over. Had a great time running around with the Port City Militia, Fonz, Nienow, Kurb, Twigz and all the others If I missed you, so sorry. Cannot wait for the MPP game in June. Kudos to Shadow Group, Kevin of Adventure Beach and all the teams that showed up. Just for the ones that were there, I was the one running around with JCS silver LAW.

Wow just a great game. I really enjoyed this experience and look forward to the next one. I would like to thank Adventure Beach Paintball and Kevin for all that he has done and doing for the great sport we all enjoy. Shadow Group once again providing a great production along with seasoned refs.
(Japanese Side) Dave you did a bang up job as a general. It is a very tough position to fill and you filled it very well. Morph played as acting XO throughout the day and he definitely pulled his end. Between you two I was always able to raise command on comms and get up to date information at any given time throughout the day, and I did. Dixie Rangers it was great meeting all of you and I know we will be working together again in the near future. Rogue Cell you were involved in all mission operations and I'm proud to say we wouldn't have gotten as far as we did without your support. Now to the good stuff. I have to say running missions all day was a blast and is what PCM is focused on intensely. However, there is nothing like running a mission where a nuclear bomb is in play so iv'e recently learned. So after lunch we head off to what we believe as a normal mission... NOT, we arrive at our destination and learn we require an engineer, a demo, and our general or XO. A nuclear weapon has been discovered inside a truck. So we setup a perimeter as Dave double times it to our location. Dave arrives and we get word we have to find some kind of prop... Turns out its the stretcher for the nuke.. (Keep in mind our current position is in the very back of the field. I have no idea what they had to do in the truck to disarm the bomb however Kurb was our engineer so I'm sure he will fill you all in.) So after 10 minutes or more of waiting around we hear that the Americans have hit Rogue Cell our recon patrol at the major intersection in the back of the field on the road and the enemy is advancing 20 strong onto our position. Just then our guys come out of the truck and inform us that the device has been disabled and is ready for transport. (Fun part) Only the acting engineer and demo men can transport the device on the stretcher... So Kurb and Chicken Hawk (Who's a young gunner with Rogue Cell) drop their guns and carry this 50 LB Stretcher with a Nuke on it. (Might have been more I didn't carry it. LoL it was very heavy.) We make our exit tape line and avoid the incoming enemy for now... We head through many tight corridors and I wish I could properly describe what I saw lol. Lets say we had to move very slow and stop quite a few times. So we come all the way down the back trails and we are coming up on the Hill and sure enough we walk right into the enemy on the trail. We engage and it doesn't take long for the patrol we avoided at first to catch up to us. It took about 2 minutes once we got boxed in for it to be all over. The enemy ended up capturing the Nuke and taking it to their objective and they nuked one of our cities!!! Side Note: I thought you guys decided NOT to use Nukes, you turned the planes back remember! Let this all teach you that even though the future can be changed it still leads down the same path! That was a fun one! However, Mission up. Need to recover 4 Steel Fuel Drums. We find their location easy enough but just as quick as we got their so was the enemy. They push hard and as I pass on the mission orders to all units in the area I pickup one of the Barrels and start rolling it out of there. That fuel barrel and I became friends right away. I took my new buddy through one fire fight into another, over ditches and through the woods. (Wish I was making this up) I got that barrel 100 feet from our base and right into the open and I get shot from behind.. So I think no big deal ill just re spawn and rally the 8 people at our base. (I have no weapon just the LAW) After that doesn't work and the enemy pushes us back, I watch as my new buddy gets rolled away to the enemy base.. I was so mad!!! (I know it was one of you! Someone fess up) Had to share that one with all of you.. On a final note I had a blast on LAW. This is the first game as a Rocket Launcher the entire game. I carried my A-5 with remote and the LAW with a sling just about the entire day with the exception of the fuel barrel mission. Definitely added a solid 10 LB to my load out and I'm feeling it. Got my 1st tank kill in a game though so it was worth it by far! The Final Battle was tough as it always is. I have to say iv'e never killed so many people in a battle before. EVER. I counted 8 hits in a row at the same bunker. Our LAW uses cartridges so takes about a minute or so to reload. Every time I popped up to scan for targets 3 more people would be at the same bunker. It was insane. It was like a recording, I would arm. Yell for the refs so they saw me fire and I would hit the same bunker. After firing all 15 rockets in my inventory I switched to my A-5 and ran till the end. WAS A BLAST GUYS! LETS DO IT AGAIN!

Quote:
ABP staff made a old 50gallon fuel drum with a "interface" in one end of it. The interface had 5 cards, each having a function. It as similar to cutting wires in the movies. As the Demo Dude I had to tell THE chickenhawk (my new hero) which cards to pull to disarm the nuke before we could move it. I liked this part, only improvement I could think of is have the actual explanation for each card on the mission card, OR give the info to the demo guy when he gets on site. Either way after much asking for repeats from one of the refs (What is the gold card again?? keith ? Thomas ??) We get nukey all disarmed and I drag her our of the truck. Now we learn only the Demo and the Engineer can carry the nuke around. It weighed about 40lbs im guessing, but it was a steel 50 gallon fuel drum, so it was a bit awkward. Especially considering im 28 230lbs (OF SOLID STEEL MUSCLE OMG ) an ChickenHawk was 12-14 years old (sorry I cant remember buddy) that might have weighed a 105lbs total. This is really the only improvment I could think of with this mission. Prehaps make it where either the demo or the engineer must be carrying, or at least touching. I know I drug poor Chickenhawk half a mile. But that kid is damn tough and never complained. In hindsite we could have simply given our cards to other people when we got tired, but such didnt occur to us at the time.Sadly in the end we got caught in a bad spot, and our nuke was stolen by LUCKY american's! ![]() Overall a fun mission and a great day at a great field.

Nope I tried getting the cards swapped, I spoke to Joe the closet ref to me at the time and ONLY the acting Demo and engineer for this mission could move the NUKE. The cards could NOT be given to anyone else for the device to be transported.. Nasty Twist ha :P
