Good evening Gentlemen!

First of all, I would like to thank all of you who have pre-registered for “Invasion of Japan: The Greatest Battle That Never Was”. It looks like numbers may top 160 by tomorrow! Shadow Group are players who produce games FOR players and we enjoy every minute of it! Our greatest reward is putting on a great game that, when all is said and done, everyone says “that was FUN!”

As for scheduling, please see the timeline below. These times are firm and NOT open to negotiation:

FRIDAY, APRIL 4

6:00pm – 9:00pm Early Check In
Players may pick up their paint tickets and Player Packs, but may NOT chrono until Saturday. This would be a good time to prep your gear.

SATURDAY, APRIL 5

7:30am – 9:00am Check In
Pre-registered players who bought paint may pick it up at the back door of the Pro Shop (adjacent to speedball field). This is also the time to fill your air tanks and chrono your marker at the chrono booth. Walk-On players may also check in at this time.

9:00am Mandatory Game Briefing.
Yes, you MUST be there!

9:30am Pre-Staging
Before you are allowed to enter the play area, you must pass the chrono check at your insertion point. This consists of 3 shots and none of which can be over 280 fps. If your marker fires over 280 fps, you must return to the chrono booth to work on it! You will NOT be allowed to work on your marker at the Insertion Point and hold up the line for other players!

10:00am Game On
The horn will sound at 10:00 sharp! Got that? 10:00! If you’re still in the parking lot filling your pods at 10:00, then you are going to be late! We are not going to stop this train for a few stragglers. My advice: Do as much prep work as early as you can.

IMPORTANT NOTE! Your marker may only fire 15 bps and must be Semi-Auto or Mechanical RT only! No Ramping or Full-Auto! Don’t EVEN try it guys! Our refs are skilled players who reserve the right to seize your marker and test fire it on the spot. If they find a marker in Ramp or Full-Auto, they will escort you off the field and restrict it from play. Also, be advised that the refs will be carrying hand-held chrons at all times to spot check players in the field.
