MPP games El Alamein at Wildfire Paintball

History was changed in the muggy devil's garden this weekend. Ben said it was one of the highest scoring games he's had. The Germans won 4300 to 3900 (approximate) but the lead changed over 6 times during the well matched fight.

Congrats to 'Wheels' Mark Anderson and XO Peaches for their victory as a first time general and XO. Off to a shaky start early Saturday his Germans completed only one mission in the first 3 hours. Wheels bemoaned that generaling was worse than getting nutshot by a tank...much worse.

Soon after though everyone began to get with the plan. With some great XO'ing at Night by HillBilly and great play by Nitro (MVP team and player), the Bears (from Bearclaw), and others, they climbed back in the game. An unrelenting armored assault by the 3 BlackHearts tanks seemed to wear the Brits down and finally broke thru the mine fields and dogged defense of the satchel engineers as they captured El Alamein in the final battle.

Congrats to all who played. Slightly hard paint and hot muggy conditions were a challenge but excellent sportsmanship and individual deeds ruled the game. Thanks to Ben and Bonnie for another excellent scenario theme in the BIA series.

Junkie has about 70 pics from me he can link and post.

That was my first scenario game, too. I had an awesome time! Maybe next time I'll actually be brave enought to get out of the base some. Yay Mark!

Yeah instead of sitting in the base shoting bugs, or little things that move. lol

Great game, I had alot of fun especially with the fart cannon. hah. I got alot of props playing with the pump, I guess since I was one of the only ones out there with one, aside from the night game.

Also Mike from Pain Cell, you now have a new nickname, "Little Nicky". If any of you have seen that movie, the scene where he is snoring in his sleep. Mike sounds exactly like that. He camped right next to us and I sware it scared the shit out of half of us. I have heard loud snoring, bear snoring, just about everykind of snoring but that is ridiculous. I heard that the first time and I tought the damn devil was coming out of him. good god all mighty.

I actually came very close to shooting my foot at one point.

....on the second night knew it was Mike snoring, but it scared me Friday night. I didn't know a human could make that noise.

Hey good game guys. I had much fun. Even though the never ending game of chicken with the tanks got old! Its hard to take those things out with the sachals all the time. (note: get LAWS working properly before next game). Although i only helped Mop and Fastwalker, they did most of the tank killing! Special thanks go out to Justin and Brett, the other two Mercs that were down...thanks for bailing my A** out of trouble more then once! Tina, good try on your first time at general. Hopefully we will be able to help you guys out more at Charleston. Nitro...well, hahah, your welcome for the code in the first 20 minutes! I let my guard down and decided to take the "easy" way back to the base...that ended up being painful! See you guys in about 3 weeks. I think i have about half a case to burn off~ Mark, congrats on your win. Peaches, NICE DRESS! Looks damn sexy on ya! Everyone else, thanks for the mostly stand up play ( i heard a few probs on both sides).
See y'all at Bear Claw.
