MXS announces 2006 Schedule

Sponsored by PMI and supported by dozens of industry manufacturers and distributors, 2006 is the 7th year Mackz Xtreme Sportz will bring its high-quality paintball scenario events to players of all ages nationwide.

January 28-29 – “Circle of Ossus” - Old River Paintball, Ocklawaha, FL. Inspired by the computer game “Age of Empires III”.

February 18-19 – “Thumb-riders’ Guide to the Cosmos” - Low Country Paintball, Ludowici, GA. Inspired by the books of Douglas Adams.

February 25-26 – “El Imperio de la Luz Nueva” (“The Empire of the Light”) - Tactical Paintball, Harwood, TX. An original story about a large drug cartel taking over northeast Mexico; DEA and Border Patrol defend Texas first.

April 1-2 – “Narnia” - SplatBrothers PaintBall, Hopewell, VA. Inspired by the books of C.S. Lewis.

April 22-23 – “War of the Worlds” - Paintball USA, Houston, TX. A version of this classic tale of alien invasion.

May 6-7 – “Libria” - Realms of Ruin, Custer Park, IL (Near Joliet). Inspired by the movie “Equilibrium.”

May 27-28 – “The Braveheart” - Wildfire Paintball, Madison, GA. A version of battles fought by the Scots and English.

June 24-25 – “Conch Republic” - Old River Paintball, Ocklawaha, FL. A “much fun and silliness” version of Key West’s attempt to secede from the United States.

August 19-20 – “Battle of Serenity Valley” - Drop Zone Paintball, Lawrence, KS. Inspired by the Unification War from the TV series “Firefly.”

September 2-3 – “Supers” - Herbies Paintball Games, Fernley, NV (Near Reno). Your favorite super friends and super villains square off.

October 14-15 – “The Western Front” - SplatBrothers PaintBall, Hopewell, VA. A war of trenches and attrition.

October 21-22 – “Empire of Fear” - Realms of Ruin, Custer Park, IL (Near Joliet). A vampire tale inspired by the book of Brian Stableford.

November 4-5 – “The Spartan Project” - Camp Blanding MOUT CTF, Starke, FL. A version of the computer game “Halo.”

December 1-3 – “Troy” - PMI’s Texas Throwdown IV, Tactical Paintball, Harwood, TX. A spin on the epic tale of Sparta versus Troy. Toga party!!

I'm thinking really hard about the Spartan Project. Probably b/c it's a mout game for 2 days. I repeat (2 days).

Man I'm dieing to do Blanding.. I can see right now that I'm going to have to jump through hoops to go. It seems like everyone is doing scenario's in Novemeber..

Well I kind of heard it through the grapevine that you would have to attend at least one LCP game beforehand to play the next free finale. So, I think I'll hold on to that little bit of money for something bigger.
