Chiming in, hopefully not too late as my account has not been working correctly as of late...

I love the idea of a RISK game, and having at least 3 teams. I played the MOB WARS game at TT, with 5 teams, and that was very interesting. The lack of generals though caused a lot of confusion, IMHO. I'd like to see 3 teams on the field, maybe even a handful of small 5 to 10 man units that have specific missions or something. It will complicate planning though.

you know....driving home today after my meeting it dawned on me that i haven't see a vietnam scenario yet. has there been a tet offensive, hamburger hill, etc. scenario? me, jester, and recon ranger are putting something together and will post when its all done. hopefully it will be well accepted. i'd love a tom clancy series. i'm pretty sure that i saw a thread about a pacific theater scenario series being planned for next year.

whoever said a game based on ghost recon had a good idea. you could do a series on it, just take the best missions from the games and plan a game around each mission. if there's a village you could do a hostage situation like counter-strike.

We did Vietnam Patrol first of the summer up at CDP. Got interesting. I was doing my Role playing a little too good as the South Vietnamese Governor. This one older player started to concern me. I think he may have actually been a Vietnam Vet. Man when they ask you to show your ID, just do it, trust me. Even thou I was suppose to be hard to understand and not understand english too well, he translated what he wanted very well. Guns will do that.

Other than me giving the one gentleman a flash back, it was a great game. We had a lot of fun. Costume contest was great as well. One Air Cav Colonel with the Wild Bill hat, one Vietnam era GI Platoon leader, and a Vietnamese Citizen with a rice hat, and black rob thingy amoung a few others.

lol awesome. i think for games that permit it, costume contests should be a friday night ritual. makes it more fun for everyone.
