With the end of summer nearing, and the resulting cooler weather, paintball comes alive in Florida again. On the weekend of September 16th and 17th, NOCER Productions started celebrating a little early, with their game "Super Trooperz". "Super Trooperz" is based on the rowdy comedy "Super Troopers". The game was held at Old River Paintball in Ocklawaha, Florida. Old River Paintball is one of the oldest and most respected fields in Florida, and their 40 playable acres see plenty of action with scenario games and weekend walk-on play throughout the year.
In "Super Trooperz", Team Posse's Craig Grindle for the State Troopers faced off against Harold "Pops" Speich playing for the Ocklawaha City Police. This game was unique in that several high profile Florida and Georgia teams were in attendance, and placing powerhouse teams like Black Berets, Hardball, Combat Assault Team, XGST, Anger Management and Ghost Core to keep the game fair was a difficult task, but NOCER Productions Andy and Kristie Graham and head referee Allan "Shadowman" Smith made their best effort to keep the teams evenly matched. Charlene the field owner changed up the field a bit too, moving the base for the City Police so that if one could run the gauntlet fast enough, quick and easy access for the opposing teams base could be had quickly. In past games, the second base was located deep in the palmettos at the back of the property.
