Looks like I wont be able to make this game after all. Got some kidney stones kicking my butt. and with already being super dehydrated I dont think a hot weekend of paintball will be any help for me. So all that can make it have fun and play fair. This is a great field and I wish I could be there. Heck at this point I wish I could get out of bed.

good times..

by the numbers:

German headed up by canibal & havocrooster w/ PCM, Section8, Brute Force, Seek and Destroy in tow.

Americans headed up by Omnicool w/ Omniforce, Capitol Punishment, SC Roadkill, MMK, GLK?, and some good ole boys from Paintball Charleston.

around 150 total by my estimation at safety briefing.

By dinner: germans up by 50,
By breakfast germans up by 150,
By game's end american win by 500

Sunday numbers were down a bit as players headed off to father's day - felt like maybe 100 (50 on 50)

------------------------------

This was my first time at adventure beach and we all had the pleasure of playing out of both bases.

Let me start my "props" with :

1) Ill be back. The field takes some getting used to, but it really grows on you. The pyramid, kern's corner, village, and woods over by the lake, even the nasty tape line between the bases all rock in my book. excellent battle field!. Like I said, Ill be back.

2) Shadow Group on the scene reffing : Best described as professional, friendly, and on top of everything. I didnt hear any complaints all weekend related to reffing. top marks guys.

3) The competition : while mission running is fun and all, I really enjoy swapping paint with the capital offense guys and gals, and of course my bro's on SC roadkill - is pretty rare we get sided opposite each other, and it were fun for sure. (Buski nippled me... yikes)

4) The heat was pretty bad, but the ballers who came to play didnt seem to notice too much. everyone there was pretty hare core, and serious ballers.

5) the accomodations: ac'ed indoor plumbing is nice - showers even.. respectable proshop at the field, nice restaurants on HW 9 -- there is buffalo wild wings around 8 minutes south on HW 9 w/ guiness on draft , PBR on ice, and solid p'baller food.

6) Major props to all the teams. with or against, its all good.

7) Lastly : Ben, Bonnie : hugs and kisses. Im pretty sure this was yall's first gig at adventure beach - and I wouldnt change a thing. great job as always. See yall at command decisions in sept and PBC in Nov (if not sooner - maybe my wife will let me make bear claw - but im sure a few section8 will be there representing, OPEC premitting)
