Great scenario guys. This was one of the hardest fought scenarios I have ever played in. Props too everyone for fighting hard and giving us a good game.

Thanks to everyone who came. I had been thinking about doing a pirate scenario for years but had delayed it because of all the extra work on top of a "full plate". When I started to build the boats, my thoughts and dreams came alive and started having fun producing this. I had also been asked for a long time to do a military scenario so I tailored some of the scenario to respect that aspect and of course added the strategies of the boats and ships. There is a few things I would tweak but I thought the "war" brought out the heart of play to keep on and never give up. I hope it pushed you to the edge.

I really enjoyed some of the battles. The funniest moment was FHS in the ship, sailing. The scurry of feet and the communications were great. This is a good team to watch out for.

The most strategic part that I saw was Morgan's team loading people in the ship while under fire. They found the blind spot of the Rackham ship and several players from different teams worked together to get it done.

Thanks again for coming. GFG does a good job producing as well and will do our next one. Watch for the official date. It is tentatively set for October 18-19.

well boys and girls, this was in my opinion, and from what i am reading from you guys also, a great weekend. though it will be a day or 2 before bastogne befor i am able to stand up straight.

first i want to say thanks to charlie and carrie(sp?) you guys made me and all of the players that were new to your field feel very much at home. the camping areas and food were awsome, the way charlie controls the field to enure that above all the field is safe for everyone, not just the players who have done this for a while. and carrie i dont know how you hold it together in the front the way you do but great job.

second: for a man that "says" he does not have a devious mind, i have to quote flash in saying.... you are evil. all joking aside the event was great. i liked the story line and there were definatly no gimmees..lol. great job making us think and keeping us on our feet the entire time. the gamewas both physicaly and metal intense. all of the time energy that you put into this event showed. the field was in great shape and you thought of just about everything.

i also want to thank the flash, t-bic and the whole gang from gang-green for allowing me to be a part of your family this weekend, i had a great time hanging with you guys. taz, tell your wife i'm sorry about showing you other guns...lol if any of you get a chance to meet or better yet play with the group fom gang green at an event or even rec play please do they are an awsome group that takes the playing of the game very serious. they play hard but play with honor, keep it up guys. cant wait to get to run with you guys again. hopefully before the gfp game in october

as for the rest of you that i met this weekend, and i am going to leave it at everyone because i met so many of you for the first time i dont want to leave any of you out, great game. it was great seening so many teams for alliances and bring fourth thier A game. you guys played as hard as i have seen a group play in quite some time.
you fellows from the rackham crew did an amazing job saturday, you controled the field in a way that us over on the morgan crew could not overcome. fortunatley for us on the morgan side did wake up eventually and gained some ground in the night play and a little more sunday morning. and the final battle...wow. that was intense to the minute. and the scoring was so close that the final battle was the deciding factor. great job to everyone who played. every one played a great game

thanks to everyone who came tpo the pistol duel also. if you would give me any sugestions you may have on making the next one better(other than starting on time) over on the pistols at pirates thread.

aaarrgggggg!!

Well just wanted to say thanks to everyone at the game. Carrie and Charlie are awesome hosts, and the field was incredible. Team Odyssey had a great time. Loved the theme, and the added difficulties of having to think around the obstacles. Had some really great firefights against Technostorm, Jolly Rogers, Hired Gunz, Gang Green and others. As always, all were stand up players. Thanks to Paul for the MVT, we would play for you anytime. Looking forward to the next one.
