i was speaking with bob a couple of days ago and he said he may let us have a pistols tourney friday. he says he has the place for it. a pond that has not held water...... or a pit.

if you guys want in let me know and i will follow up with bob. please sign into the poll to let me know if you are interested

here is what the format would be:

Please keep in mind that all rules are subject to change until the first gun goes off:

• COST IS $5.00 PER PLAYER PER BOARD.
• PAINT and 12GRAMS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR
• ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST HAVE A FIELD WAIVER SINGED PRIOR TO ENTRY
• ONE PISTOL PER SHOOTER
• You each get 6 rounds, per match

• Duel will be from a distance chosen by me. aprox 20 paces.
• MATCH BEGINS AT THE SOUND OF THE BELL. BELL WILL BE PLACED BETWEEN SHOOTERS AND SOUNDS OFF AT VARING TIMES
• IF A SHOOTER DRAWS EARLY, HE LOOSES THAT MATCH
• IF A SHOOTER SHOOTS HIMSELF BY ACCIDENT HE LOOSES MATCH
• Position will be mark on the ground. If you step out of the circle, you will be considered dead
• Player must remain standing during the match(no kneeling)
• HOLSTER WILL NOT BE required. GUNS WILL BE HELD POINTED AT THE GROUND DIRECTLY BESIDE THE SHOOTER UNTIL MATCH BEGINS if gun is raised prior to bell, player will be counted as dead.
• 30 sec max match
• GUN MALFUNFUCTION WILL CAUSE MATCH TO RE-START(SAFTEY ON IS NOT A GUN MALFUNCTION, IT IS A LOSS)
• This will be single match, double elimination
• PAINT MUST BREAK TO COUNT AS A KILL
• There will be 2 judges for each match, their decision is final
• FIRST PERSON HIT WILL BE COUNTED DOWN. JUDGES WILL HAVE WHISTLES. AND WILL SOUND OFF WHEN PLAYER IS HIT
• Winners move on to next matchin their bracket
• Looser mover to the last chance bracket
• Entries fees go towards the event fund raiser
• You may enter as many time as you like as long as it is only once per board

ALL ABOVE RULES APPLY TO TEAM MATCHES WITH THESE EXCEPTIONS:

• YOU MAY SHOOT AT ANY PLAYER(NOT JUST THE ONE IN FRONT OF YOU)
• TEAM WITH THE MOST UNSHOT PLAYERS LEFT WINS
• YOU MUST STOP FIRING WHN HIT. CONTINUING TO SHOOT AFTER YOU HAVE BEEN HIT WILL FORFIET FOR YOUR ENTIRE TEAM ON SPORTSMANSHIP.

Sarge, do you have a round about time that you would be doing this on friday ?

I'm in....... bringing two pistols ........ so if need be that someone would like to play that doesn't have one and I'm their I have a spare.

i will be getting there about 2pm. i will start registrations around 3. we will start 4:30-5pm

i will be bringing 3 pistols and i am sure that some of the others will be willing to let people use theirs.
do not, not get in just because you dont have a pisol.

we will play as late as we can. if bob has a way to light the pond we will play all night if you guys keep antting up.

the proceeds go towards the fund raiser like the chili, we may be able to get bob to have some sort of prize, i don't know on that. but i will be giving award certificates to the winners. and let us not forget bragging rights.

this is what i like to see, soilders of both the americans(yeahhh) and those german fellows too...lol not afraid of a little one on one. not scared to step up to the line and take a chance. which will it be. the glory of victory or the agony of defeat?

the only way to find out for sure is to step up to the line and put it all on the line.......

if so step up to the line and show your stuff. show us you can out perform the other guy. and if you are german come in anyway, we need more targets.

awesome sarge! i like how you aligned it with the other charitable events going on! we may have one or two more form our team interested. we did this @ iwo jima and it was alot of fun.

we did at pirates and all i heard from the 80+ people watching afterwards was " i wish i would have played. i did not think it would look soo good.damn put me in for next time"

well guys just signup. though it is fun to watch, its better to play.

if i do not get at least 25signed up i wont be doing it. though it is fun regardless, too much work for less than 25
