Taking this gripe to a new level, as a pump player who may go through 20 ounces of co2 in a 24 hours game, why am I asked to pay the same for event air as a guy who tops off every time he leaves the field? Or here is another one... I bring all the co2 I need, and some field owner insists I pay for event air... or even better, the stock class guy w/ his 12grams being forced to pay for event air that doesnt not include 12 grams.

My solution : just bring three 16oz tanks full. One for sat, one for sun, and one "just in case".

Btw: Im pretty sure if you bring a scuba tank to an event, you are pushing on a few laws:

Soliciting on private property w/o a business liscence.

and if you dont have a HAZMAT liscence to transport the scuba tank that is trouble.

Not to mention getting in dutch w/ the field. You might get voted off the island.

1. I dont think wizard was saying he was going to sell Air, just fill his own tanks

2. Dont need a hazmat license to transport scuba..

3. It is against the field regs as there are no personal fill stations.

From a air producers view point we get paid by the tank .
And dont be misled we dont always recieve the entire air fee.
If the promoter charges everyone a air fee you could use mult tanks no problem .Our policy is if theres a tank problem we change tank tags n go on.
Plus if everyone pays theres no problem of checking reciepts etc.
No field should allow byop tanks to refill due to liabilty.

When you only shoot an average of 375 rounds per event, you might as well bring a few full tanks and as thumper said, "save it for the steak"

ah, the wonders of pump play....

I Shoot A Variety Of Guns At Events So The 15 Is Fine By Me....but Many Events Have Their Own Air Available From The Feild Itself And Simply Include It As Paid When Entered.

As For The Scua Fills, It Violates Thier Insurance Rules If They Have Real Pb Insurance, Instead Of The Park Insurance A Lot Of Fields Go With. This Insurance Only Covers The Inside Area Not The Parking Lots And Camping Areas

Oops, I better fill in some details. Due to the massive amount of paint we want to shoot and hassles of running 4-6 normal 68/4500 tanks in a Tank we have converted over to scuba tanks. They're visualled and hydro'd and filled at licensed scuba shops (2900 psi) and NOT used for field refills ever. They are only for the Tank.
