I think you guys are kinda missing his point.

In his stadium event ball, there would be as much paint slung as there is in speedball. Probably a whole lot more!

He is not talking about wooded acres of scenario play... he's talking about omaha beach, hamburger hill, or maybe even a no-roof urban assault -- all played in a stadium with viewers to watch.

I'm all for it, sign me up

Years ago around 1995 I breiefly had the oppertunity to aquire two gigantic ware houses at Port Manatee. I mean over a hundred thousand sq ft floor space,40' celings. I even had a backer who would have provided the capitol and been a silent partner. I had dreamed of having airconditoned playing fields that could be rearanged to what ever type of terrian I could have thought of,WWII, WWI, jungle, desert, ect. Pro Shops, Snak bar, enclosed viewing area. Well a dirt company got them first, called "Clean Soil" they provide sterilized potting soil for giant plant growing operations. But there is always the future. Thanks Trentdk for actually reading my post.

The concept has merit though I think a football stadium has far too little real estate. 5000sq/ft is too small for scenario ball. That's more like old school tournament size.

But a 100,000 sq ft warehouse... that's more like it! With cameras roaming the ceilings you could easily broadcast the action.

And on the pedestal these words appear:

"My name is Ozymandias, king of kings:
Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair!"
Nothing beside remains: round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare,
The lone and level sands stretch far away
.

Yes but setting up video on fields such at Blandings urban area or Challenge Parks Xtremes cities would be easier. You setup surveliance cameras in corridors, street corners with turret motors and a few handheld/goggle cameras. You would need a few people to move around to clean the lenses or plexiglass shells around the cameras. But still very do-able. It would take a crew to move/zoom the cameras, from a remote production area, onto the action.
